Thanks for the review. The O.G. Ms.Marvel is my number one desired figure of the 85th-anniversary wave. We need an O.G Jessica Drew Spider-Woman, an Animated Blackcat, and a Jim Lee Pyslocke in this mold.
Im glad I am not the only one who prefers the older version. This new one looks odd to me.. Maybe her upper body looks to small compared to her legs. Why do they keep using noodle arms for females? She need bigger arms like the older one has, and just add the double jointed elbows. Not sounding like a perv but her chest looks teen-ish and her head looks too small.. IMO, dont let go of the old one yet.. :)
I haven't watched this yet but I'm already predicting I'm gonna be tearing my hair out when Dan keeps calling this the "Black Widow body" 😂

Same here. Maybe this is a teenage version of her? Once again they are making full grown female characters looking like teenagers.
Her head is small as well. Just look at the comparison of her standing next to the Black Widow figure that was first to have this articulation scheme in the line. Bodies are pretty much the same size but Widow's head is larger making BW look bigger than Warbird. I hate that she's so small compared to other ML females.

Give us a new Hellcat on this body please along with Psylocke, Gamora & Dagger. Future figures who would benefit include Deathbird, Hepzibah, Catseye, Phyla Vell, Echo, Nocturne, Shanna the She Devil, Karolina Dean & Miss America Chavez .
I like the sculpt but she is too short. She’s 5’11 in the comic and is typically towering over other ladies and in some cases some guys. In your review it shows that Wasp, Black Widow & Scarlet Witch we’re all taller but in the comics they are all considerably shorter at 5’4, 5’7 & 5’8. I will look to replace her feet to see if I can make her a little taller.
Yeah I guess if you put her in a flying pose she won't look too bad, but for me it just doesn't work, unless there's a plan to shrink all future figures? Lol
It was sad when Rogue was forced to take Carol's own powers, But I still think this figure of Carol Danvers aka Ms. Marvel does looks cool especially with that design and those beautiful tough head sculpts, Great review on this Ms. Marvel figure Dan.

While the new figure is overall a major upgrade compared to the old one, I do see two things that were downgraded _ifyouknowwhatimean._
Moving the thigh joint further down might have been inspired by Executive Replicas' Lady Death figure? Also I wonder if her legs would be swappable onto Goblin Queen?

Alright! When everyone is reviewing Danny Ketch, you hit 'em with the Warbird. She looks goooood, and especially when you put her next to the decade-old version Posing could use a little work but you get an A for effort. Do you get letter-grades in the UK? If not, 1000 points to Dan Who house I'm an American so I had the freedom to out on this preorder, and boy did I use that freedom

Really hope Phoenix is not this small, though I guess this height will work better for her. The wasp comparison pains me ngl, wonder if they shrunk her for costs? Its a pass for me.

Greetings from the States. Congrats for having your own Marvel Legends Warbird. I'll be looking forward to buying this figure here in the US later this month at Target, so thanks for a detailed review of her. Plus, I plan on customizing Warbird. My only gripe from seeing this is that she's rather short compared to other female Legends figures.
They downgraded her upper torso from the one in the 3 pack. They did the same thing with the Spider Woman from the Skrull 2 Pack. I actually prefer her as Warbird considering the story arcs she was apart of.
They think it is too sexy for kids. Same old reason..
Hair should be swappable. Otherwise can't really fault this. Got 1 preordered.

I would really love if they finally did a upgraded captain marvel carol danvers with her red and blue outfit I think a remake from the 2015 with the updated articulation would be beautiful
Old 3pack one looks infinitly better.
She will sell and be very popular because a lot of collectors don't have the original, but you're lying to yourself if you believe the update version is Better than the Original.
I appreciate everyone has there own opinion but I respectfully disagree on that, new one is big improvement in the overall aesthetic and Marvel world we are building in plastic, but that’s just me 🙏🏻

I find it odd that this body was not used for the upcoming Phoenix. Some may argue that the thighs are too thick for Phoenix but the sculptors could have found a middle ground where it could work for both characters. After all they were drawn in the comics similarly body type wise. We never had a Phoenix figure with sculpted boots from Marvel Legends and I think it was a missed opportunity for the fans and for Hasbro so they could reuse those thighs a number of times more.
Ms. Marvel. I always go for the classics.

Spider women and cat women definitely need to use this buck going forward, I just got wolfsbane and had to dremmel the crap out of her torso and hip joints, this figure reminds me of when she rejoined the avenger in 98, as her costume was coloured completely black as before this it always had a more blue hue to it but also Carole always had heels on as well so hopefully we might see a 2 pack with a mystique on this buck with Carole in a blue version of the and both sporting the mockingbird/captain marvel( monica) heels which would be more accurate.

The Ms. Marvel I’ve been waiting for, can’t wait for mine. I was actually thinking of biting the bullet and tracking down the older three pack version numerous times bc that, for the longest time, was the only good looking Ms. Marvel figure but I’ve stopped myself every single time out of hope that Hasbro would make a new one and now I’m glad I waited
The beautiful older 3 pk version is hard to find and very expensive but it still looks better than this tiny new release of her

7:07 A good thing about this new body is that the abs are on the front of the torso, unlike on Black Widow. Just kidding, but your Black Widow figure has a QC error where her mid-section part is backward. I've seen a lot of the Sharons from the S.H.I.E.L.D. 3-Pack also have this mistake.

She has athletic leg build, pinching at the thighs, knees and ankles as it should be. Not like most of the pencil stick legs hasbro gives female figures.

I disagree that the new one is better than the old version. She got scaled down. Maybe best for Psylocke or Elektra but knowing Hasbro, we will never get them in this bodymould lol. So with this new Warbird she would look like a child when placed side by side with the Rogue figure. too bad you missed that opportunity to show everyone. haha

I was actually one of the few that got her. I hit buy at 2:00 minutes and she was sold out at 2:30! I would probably like to get another as I have 3 Marvel Earth's. So I will be looking out for it.

No. It was the standard release at noon. I was on the Target site, had to refresh once, it came up, I got it in my cart and hit buy. It took 2 full minutes. Someone I trust was timing it and clocked it as being 'Sold Out' in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If I had been even a little slower I would have missed it too.

I'm very surprised at how different it is from Black Widow. The Warbird body buck is almost perfect. I would have just like the upper boot to be the swivel point so there is no cut. I'm still jumping back and forth between if Hasbro needs to just move to double ball joint torsos or do the articulation system they use for Gi Joe(Articulated necks, double ball joint torsos with a lower ab crunch).
I'll probably go Warbird for the face.

Any warrior female character should be on this body. That they released that Daredevil Elektra right after/before they showed up Black Widow was very disappointing.

I think I’ll stick with the previous Warbird. I prefer her musculature and scale as compared to other figures. No way should Warbird (5’11) be as small/smaller than the Wasp (5’4).

I like the new one but for singular poses only, You cant even use it side by side to the Juggy Rogue because it is considerable smaller than her.. Dont listen to Dan Who and let go of the old one because the older one is still a better figure. :)
