This basic health tonic is made of the following ingredients:
Raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar
Raw unfiltered honey
Cinnamon
Tumeric
Garlic
The liquid measures are a teaspoon and the dry measures are a quarter teaspoon.
The apple cider vinegar is supposed to help with weight loss, reduce blood sugar, reduce blood pressure, and even be anti-cancer.
Honey is antiseptic, helps with wound healing, and some claim it helps regulate blood sugar. It is also packed with antioxidants. Remember, honey is mostly sugar.
Cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar and softens the insulin spike. It also has antiinflammatory properties as well as helps with blood pressure. Too much cinnamon is bad for the liver but a quarter teaspoon twice a day is well within the safe range.
Tumeric is antiinflammatory and is anti-cancer. It reduces blood pressure and thins the blood. Be careful if you take blood thinners and be careful that it doesn't drop your blood pressure too low.
Garlic is excellent for blood pressure regulation and heart health.
Take this tonic 30 minutes before your first meal and 30 minutes before your last meal. Don't let this tonic sit on your teeth for too long due to the acidity of the apple cider vinegar.
