Might as well call it "game swapping." Gamesharing isn't the same like it used to be on PS3, you used to be able to have 5 PS3's activated, and even when they lowered it to two it was still fine because you could share with one person.

There was also something else that *was* plausible to get more than one primary PS4.
Your friend gameshares with you, you activate their account on your PS4. You download all of the games that you can on your system, then sign out of that account. Your friend would then go to Sony's website and use the "deactivate all" function (which can only be used once every 6 months) and he would be able to activate his PS4 as primary again and you would still be able to play the games that he downloaded, as long as you never tried to sign back into that account. This also was (and still is) a viable option on PS3, but surprisingly has been patched for the PS4 when they introduced the 5.0 or 4.0 update. The PS4 now recognizes if itself is activated as primary on that account that you used, and if its not then the licenses will be revoked immediately. (Even if you're signed out of the account) It's even a message that appears when it's trying (and failing) to authenticate this. This is ALSO why if you are banned, then the licenses for *everything* that you have bought on that account are revoked IMMEDIATELY. On the PS3, and before the 4.0 update(?) you were able to still play your games if the account was banned until they were deleted or until you deleted the user which bought the games. Anyways this comment is too long lmaooo food for thought.

I have a PS3 and PS4 with my friend's account on both consoles, and I have the benefit of activating his account as primary on PS3 and getting free PS Plus on both consoles, and my other friend has his account as a primary PS4

Now, my brother just got a Playstation 4 Pro, and I put my account on his console. My account is still activated on MY PS4, by the way. Anyway, he later came home and put HIS account on the console, making it HIS activated account. Now each game he downloads I can play on MY account, on his console. Is this considered "Illegal game sharing"? If so then Sony needs to remove this because it's not illegal, at least not by Sony's standards (their Terms of Service), and if it is, then they false advertised, which is also illegal. I mean, when you first turn on a brand new PS4 and set it up for the first time, it tells you that by activating your account, your other accounts will reap the benefits.
I watched the video, but I'm still confused on what Sony considers "Illegal game sharing." Is it considered illegal when it's between random people? Is it considered illegal when you swap system activations aka my account activated on your system and your account activated on mine? Or is what I stated above considered game sharing?
Sony makes things so difficult. All they have to do, if this is the case, is make it where you can't share games at all across accounts, only your activated account.
Also, since my account is activated on MY PS4, will having my account on my brothers PS4 spark a red flag? I say this because Sony might look and say, "if he already has his account activated on one console, why would he also put it on another console? Wouldn't it be better and more beneficial for him to play on his playstation since it's activated on there?" I mean, it would be questionable and a good question at that, but at the same time, it wouldn't make sense to be considered a red flag. I don't know, just a though. So many damn questions! SMH...
I have 2 ps4's in my house. Mine and my daughers. Hers is activated as my primary and mine is activated as her primary. Both have 3 accounts. Mine, hers, and my wifes. Only my account has plus. All accounts on both systems have no problem playing all games. I would not recommend sharing with anyone outside of your own household.

My questions: If ps4 1 is the main user and gives access to ps4 2. Ps4 1 is deactivated and ps4 2 is active; can ps4 1(which is the main user) download, and play online while ps4 2 is the active account?

yes... keep your account as primary on your ps4 ... then log in your account on his ps4... He should play from your account on his ps4... while you should start WWII on your ps4 from any other account. Your second account can play WWII and use the ps plus

You can't you can only have one person's, of course you could have more but they would automatically lock and you would have to go on that person's account that has the game, so chill out

On xbox only one person has to have online play and when u share ur games u actually share ur online access too, is PS4 like that as well or does each person have to have their own online access?

Lets say I logged in my brothers PSN, and activated my console primary. Then switch back to account (user), then start downloading the games, can my brother use his PSN, while the downloading is still ongoing on my console?
my son is in Singapore I am in Thailand and we goin nuts trying to game share, because family management isn't online, its on each local device, so he cant download the games I buy here in Thailand, on his Psp4 in Singapore. Of course so he just logs in to my account, and download the games to his ps4 on my profile, and then log in using his own account after downloading . two users on each device in each country - game owner's profile has to be the one to activate the device, and add the other user to family management. After this can share. Profiles are safe, as passcode pin numbers can be placed on each profile
I have a question! So what if you’re game sharing with someone and you decide to not game share with him anymore, so you deactivate him as primary blah blah blah. Now those games that you still have you go on someone elses account and game share with that new person, do i keep those games from the other persons account or no?

Ur account is gonna lock on the stranger ps4 his ps4 is gonna ask him to write the new password to enter ur account to use it so he will remove it from his ps4 because he doesn't know the password and this is how u remove the game share it is gonna take just 2 minutes easy pizzy

Hey, so I shared with my boyfriend wwii and another. I live across the city. So it worked for two days. I made my profile primary on his ps4 and disconnected mine.i then downloaded the games and switched his profile back to primary. I was able to play my games at home as could he at his home. Just a while ago he called me to let me know Wii is now locked. Although I am not primary he is not allowed to play my games as along as I'm online at my home. Why is it kicking me off of his ps4 when I log into my ps4 at home.
