Great vid man. I got a 74 300 ss. Mag side isn’t firing spark. Pulled cover and hooked up the drill like you said, I can see spark for the one side. The other point I can’t see spark. Tried cleaning but still getting nothing. Any advice?
By cleaning, do you mean taking some Emery paper and cleaning up the points? Perhaps the non sparking side needs a small adjustment. Alternatively, If your Skidoo still runs, fire it up, and pull one plug off, and if it still runs, put the plug back on, then try the other side. If your machine dies, then it could be the coil or condenser. Hope that helps
@@Back40Bushcraft yes, just opened them and cleaned up the points with paper. I swapped the external coil and condenser from the firing side to the problem side and still no spark. I’m going to try and adjust the points tomorrow. New to the old sleds so this is a learning curve for me
That's why I switched to one lungers, because I found the twins to be too finicky!

I've since sold the Skidoos off, and considering the lack of snow this year, I think I should probably invest in a wetsuit instead.
