How to Make Spicy Chicken Fried Rice

- Spicy Chicken Fried Rice that’s better than any take out! Who doesn’t like a great fried rice. This recipe is quite simple to make and perfect if you have any leftover rice.
I find a lot of fried rice recipes tend to overcook both the chicken and the eggs. I like my chicken juicy and my eggs fluffy, that’s why it’s well worth the effort to cook them separately. You can still only use one pan or wok which is awesome, less cleaning up. This recipe calls for 2 pounds or 900 grams of rice which equates to 2 cups of uncooked dry rice. Use a long grain such as basmati or jasmine rice for great results. If you don’t like it too hot and spicy, simply reduce the amount of chili or scrape the seeds out, they are quite often the hottest part. This recipe has few ingredients but just enough to make it incredible. You can of course add more vegetables such as carrot, bok choy etc. That’s the beauty of fried rice, there’s no limits. Joel my good Aussie friend, great recipe & looks delicious. I like some heaty spice, but you being a chef & i cook a lot, beware of those Thai red or green green chili peppers, lol, they will light you up, & not just when you eat them, but also the next day, you know what i mean, lol. I like boneless/skinless chix thighs in this dish, but my wife will want the breasts. I have learned to cook by division, lol, wives are high maintenance & spoiled mate, lol.anyway have a great day, cheers mate ! , i'm getting pretty good at saying that, lol. btw, i'd like to see you do a recipe on Australian type lobster, i think are called spiny lobster, very colorful, but do not have the big claws like a Maine lobster, i think you know what i may be speaking of.

This is absolutely the best fried rice ever! I first tried fried rice in the USA and I loved it. A few years ago I moved to Ireland and I always craved for it but no take away could satisfy my needs, until this recipe. It tastes exactly as I know it, maybe better! I also added shrimps, cause this is how I like it. Thank you so much for this recipe. I will never buy fried rice again!

Fried rice really comes in a lot of ways for asians. As an Indonesian my self, I usually use sweet soy sauce to make it more sweet savoury and has nice black colour. I also always have garlic oil and shallots paste in store because fried rice is like a mandatory dishes that you can eat anytime.

What a presentation
I made this today. I was searching for the recipe of the fried rice I had in an Asian restaurant in Germany, as it had that tumeric taste and was so flavorful. So thanks to you, I managed to recreate that delicious dish. I added extra chillies as I like it spicy. It was absolutely yummy! Thank you for sharing the recipe.
