Beautiful set up by Usman, i love how he made it look like he was throwing a left hook only to drop mavidals right hand with it and created his opening to follow up with a straight right. Love it!

Not necessarily , humility earns you respect but not success. For example : when colby wasnt talking shit , he was about to be canned by the ufc but he changed his character as one who trash talks and show boats. Now he's fighting the champion for a second time. So i dont think humilty = success ,its mostly with luck + hardwork. But humility does earn you respect.

Outside of the ufc and mma, trash talking like that would most likely send someone to the freezer, then to the funeral house. So, how can we separate a professional fighter that trash talks his way into millions of dollars vs someone who is just not humble? This guy was a good example. After knocking bis opponent out, be went as far as humiliating him, not caring for his fellow fighter. Look at Mike Tyson. A man of few words, and always helping his opponents after knocking their lights out. Be was as intimidating as a male lion, and walked the talk too. That my friend is humility. To this day Mike Tyson is loved by his fans. Look at Emilianenko. Another great example. This loud mouth dudes will be forgotten.

That is about the best block remover, right hand down the pike I've seen in a long time! Usman has improved a lot since the the Colby fight or even the last Masvidal fight. Bruce Lee would have been proud of that that sequence.

Even though I never really liked him, I always had respect for Jorge for how he handled this loss and how humiliating it was. But after recent events, this highlight is a source of pure amusement for me.

Quite literally THE most satisfying knock out of all time. Even the out of character hammer fists after he’s down just to give him a taste of his own medicine, this is literally one of the greatest clips EVER. And gamebred won’t show it on his feed in a million years even though he’s all about exactly this. 😂 must hurt a bit.

If look at the setup, usman tricked him with a left hook, but he actually used that to drop his guard and then land the the right hand. Smart.
Not really this was Trevor Wittmans study of Masvidals previous KO losses. He got dropped the exact same way in his street fight and KOd the exact same way in Japan minus pulling the arm pull down.
That was a pac man move.
@@zebbidyarrives There's no pulling on someone's arm in boxing to force their guard down. Most mma fighters do this when throwing an elbow. Usman's straights he threw in round 1 weren't enough to even wobble Masvidal so he threw this in the second. The same shots Usman threw in the first round KO'd Burns in the second round. The only change Usman claims to have done when asked in his interviews was work on his footwork to get better openings. This was less Usman and more Masvidal dropping half his guard to anticipate the takedown, a stance he didn't use in the first fight. Masvidal Using this stance in the first fight he would have been KO'd the first time they fought.

@@morgueblack That's a slap not clasping your hand around the arm/ grabbing. A slap in boxing is still striking not the same. It works in boxing because the gloves are so large and the opponents hand isn't as close to their face because of all that padding. With mma 4oz gloves that would likely not work since you have less to strike at and the hand is at their face and mma rules are you're not allowed to grab the glove. The grabbing Usman did was at the base of the forearm by the elbow. Lomanchenko just slaps down the glove which technically are still punches.
