People fail to realize that people who make skins or anything to deal with cosmetics has nothing to do with the folks who balance the game. These heirlooms and all the other stuff being added in are from a different portion of respawn.
doesn't matter if they're separate departments. It feels like EA has a cosmetics team that's like 5 times as big as the development team with how many cosmetics and events and things like that coming out. They need a bigger development team.

@@menace6707 sigh…it doesn’t work like you think. You do realize any cosmetics are more than likely made months in advance. All the leaks we get for cosmetics means they’re already done. It’s MUCH easier to just update a store than to update/fix a game. By this logic they might as well just disable the store completely until the apex community is happy which will NEVER happen cause everyone’s views on the game are different. Stop releasing cosmetics until respawn bans people for teaming. IMO no one prioritizing cosmetics over the game. It may seem like that cause stuff constantly gets released but once again this stuff is created in advance before a lot of problems pop up. The creative team and coders are different branches of the company. Can’t expect an artist to ban/fix respawns technical issues with the game. That’s like asking a shirt maker to fix a Bugatti transmission issue.

Pirate Software made it clear that the Sales/Store department have a timeline for their work. Even tho the game sucks, the sales team still has a job that’s separate from the devs.
Respawns lack of commitment to improving the game isn’t even disappointing anymore as it’s become the norm.
Its EA controlling respawn. all the good respawn devs that cared left because EA was taking over so all the money grabbing decisions that are being made are by EA themselves. They have complete control of respawn right now.

something about the cheating, sbmm, and all the bugs in this game, along with "REASONABLE" pricing for "COSMETICS", and the game will thrive and grow even more.
I’ve had that store/queueing crash a couple of times and I end up with a CTD happened twice before I realized what was causing it 🙈
They need to make it to where every 20,000 legend tokens you can convert into a specific (maybe small) amount of artifact shards

I guaranty that the apex pack upgrades are going to be way overpriced. People just need to not buy the overpriced stuff, if no one bought the buster sword then we wouldn't have the Artifact events so expensive.
I hope they’re using this season to get their little item shop together and after this, it better be games modes, guns, maps etc.
@thordansmash i also feel that quietly behind the scenes that the algoritham has changed on packs one what loot actually drops in preperation for this pack upgrade scam!. I still have lots of cosmetics to unlock yet over the last 6 months i have never opened so many packs that give me all shards its insane. Something changed now they want to charge us for what we was previously getting in packs.

Bro a friend of mine had a weird bug 2 days ago where he had 2 heirlooms unlocked and had the new prestige octane skin, but couldnt use any of them and a couple legendary and limited skins he never bought haha that was pretty fun tbh

Just stop buying and force them to fix needed issues like the ridiculous hacking. Ranked has become completely out of control. Last night, just about every other round had damn cheaters in them. The Apex packs, that's a whole 'nother story. If they actually took the money and put it back into development and anti cheat, then MAYBE there could be justification for the pricing. But at this point, $160 for events, etc, is just plain ludicrous... In the end, I still say like I have been for years, I think some of the companies or employees are the ones behind the hacks 🤔🤔

I feel like there are some problems with the monetization of Apex. But, I feel like we need to remember that there are multiple teams within the Apex team, one of these being the design/store team, that have their own deadlines separate from other teams. I do feel like EA/Respawn do need to slow the release of these store items to focus on player retention.

They've been doing a good job with modes and cosmetics I'll give them that, but I think they really need to put some focus on maps, I feel like the map rotation has been the same for so long and it needs something new. More town takeovers and new maps would be greatly appreciated.
