- Welcome to a week in the life of a first-year medical student. We've made it to Block 5 and our final week of endocrine. WOOT WOOT!!!!!
If you don't already know me, my name is Ethan, and I am a first-year med student here at UCLA. In addition to being a full-time med student, I'm passionate about community-building, public health, and writing. Also, as part of my quest to live simply and minimally, I live out of a self-converted campervan! 🚐🤠

Keep up the salsa dancing! I'm a 4th year med student at Columbia in NYC, and our latin dance club has been such a positive, grounding influence in my life during med school :) Dancing is a great way to make friends and de-stress. Best of luck!

Good to see you Ethan, super nice video! Endocrine is a topic near and dear to me - I had thyroid cancer and 2/3 of my thyroid was removed, at the age of 35. Let me know if you find any research to prevent it from coming back. Have a great week ahead!
I saw your other video. The interview. I live in India. Imagine how far and wide your viseo has travelled... i have to say. I wish i had children and i wish they were like you. You seem to be a kind human ebing and innocent. Hold onto that innocence- its the most precious thing. Your parents did such a good job. If i were around there, i'd give you a hug and a giant plate of food(im a chef). Let me knownif you want yo know some really good one pot indian meals . Not spicy- most of us dont eat spice.
