As an American I can assure you tens of millions of us feel patriotism towards the UK, particularly Scotland if your of Scottish ancestry like I am.
Also the video has few mistakes particularly about the USA being the strongest power in history. That still goes to the British, y'all held 25% of the world's landmass, as well as dominated the globe for over a century. The USA is close but I doubt we'll ever hold so much direct control and dominion over the globe.

I was a soldier in the US Army for 10 years. You asked a question about how Americans feel about the British. I will speak for myself when I say that I like the UK. And most people that I know like the UK. It is nice to know that no matter what people think about the conflicts that have come up around the world. It is very comforting to know that the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, France, and other key Allies have been right there right beside us. I want to thank all of the countries that are right there with us. Just like I would not hesitate one second in being right there in helping you if the time should ever arise. So, one more thought about the video. It's obvious that America is the best equipped and maned military in the world. Now add to our military strength of our friends like the UK, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Japan, Philippines, South Korea, the list goes on, and on. Now think about all of our strengths put together. We should be unstoppable if we keep our common values and beliefs in check. Interesting alliance we all have. Last but not least. Even tho we are of different country's, I want to thank you for your service.

The M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer has a 155 mm main gun. The crew is trained to do the math on paper, but they use a ballistics calculator that can figure out the atmospheric conditions and the curvature and rotational speed of the Earth. Once the forward observers have confirmed the impact zone and sent back corrections, the feed mechanism and crew can fire up three shells that impact nearly simultaneously within yards of each other at any range, changing the barrel's angle and using different weights of propellant charges. It can fire up to 4 rounds per minute for up to 3 minutes before it runs out. They were developing a system that could deliver five shells simultaneously, but they figured three was "good enough" so they cancelled it and saved millions to develop other tech. Ranges of 13 miles for HE, 19 miles with rocket assisted shells, 25 miles with Excalibur GPS guided shells.

My family has English heritage going back to the 1400's and I'm very proud to call both nations my own. If anyone, was to ever lay a hand on the UK I would take it personally, as if my own land was attacked yes. We Yanks, especially ones with British heritage would consider UK family more so than any other ally. Because we really are family not just in a political context but in blood and culturally as well. You are our brothers, its to the point that if someone asked me what country I call home its a split, I live in the U.S. and am an American. But culturally, historicly and spiritually I am British and haven't forgotten that.

My mother's ancestry includes New England colonists who rebelled against Britain and fought the Redcoats fiercely, as well as German and Irish immigrants. Therefore I am as fond of the UK as I am of Germany, and less than I am of Ireland where all of my Father's family originated. True, I support Poland and the Ukraine because my "German" ancestor came from a place now in Poland and had an Eastern European name. Whoever says that "nations don't have friends they have interests," is only half right, nations are composed of people and the people have family histories and attachments. BTW I have Canadian aunts on both paternal and maternal sides, not unusual for a New England Yankee, Ayuh!

With individual and combined strengths, Mountain warfare, anti-submarine warfare, geopolitical knowledge, local terrain knowledge, winter warfare to name a few.

I’ve heard alot about how divided a country the U.S. is. The country was more divided during the Vietnam war. The main thing, though, is that people outside the U.S. don’t really understand our brand of unity. We fuss and fight amongst ourselves, including during war, and that’s part of being American. America isn’t about our unity, the state, our history, or anything like that, it’s a country about the people having our (you’re) own opinions, making your own life, and whatever else a person decides it’s about - for them. We’re actually a very united country, in a way that’s hard for others’ to see.

A couple thoughts. First, I am about 25% Scottish, 60% Brittish, 7% Welsh and 3% Irish, 3% Norwegian and 2% no idea. LOL the truth is my family has fought in Europe in both World Wars and we think of G.B. as our cousins. You're family so to speak and literal in some cases so while I am not a fan of the crown we love your people. I believe that we will come to your aid if needed. Second, as far as our current internal issues, I don't think it's as big a deal as the media makes it out to be. About 30% of the population are wack jobs with extreme right and left views with the 70% in the middle feeling like we need to be referee's. I have a feeling this falls election will go a long way to straightening it out. Third, Russia's numbers are extremely reduced and no where near as much hardware as they had. Fourth this didn't go into how technological advances have exploded over here with AI and 6th gen Stealth and real hypersonic with Mach 5+ capability with steerable weaponry.
You asked at the end about moral compass. I think it will be set by this upcoming election.

If this is true why whenever something bad happens to us or we go into battle , we come together and want blood. All American just want to live our lives and love our country. We infight like siblings, in the end we will defend each others right to have a difference of opinion. I believe this is one thing that makes us stronger most countries.

Only served 4 years in the US Navy as an Aviation Electriciansmate, made it to E-4 and then departed in 2014. Most of my experience was on the EA-6B Prowler and EA-18G Growler in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand (Never went on land, just provided relief after they were hit by a bad storm), and Washington State. As such I don't have much relationship with UK or other forces besides the Japanese (and even then my experience was primarily their officers aboard CVN-76 so I steered clear).
As for the Moral compass - I think it's a consequence of our 'softness' which is likely not the appropriate way to communicate what I mean.
We live in an era where people say whatever they want with no consequences. I had a small argument with a friend and one of their friends threatened to burn my house down and legally there was nothing I could do (But when I was growing up you'd have to say this to my face and idk about others, but I'd likely get violent someone threatens to burn down my home and endanger my wife and animals! Even worse if you have children!)
Then we bring up children and in the US most kids don't get spanked, rarely get grounded, and it makes me wonder what consequences are actually being taught to the next generation or are we raising entitled brats who think there are no consequences for their actions?
Now each scenario is too nuanced to actually discuss because obviously some parents are better equipped than others to care for and guide their children to be well adjusted and productive members of society, but personally I feel like the moral compass is currently spinning in place is because the USA is a huge melting pot, civilians have gone through a massive tech boost in the last few decades, and while the US military has done a good job at staying relevant - extremely dangerous situations arise from domestic situations significantly more often then ever before just due to the digital shadow war that everyone is fighting each day (not to mention botting, AI, and likely other tools used to further the goals of misinformation, intel gathering, and
    sabotage)

Don't let the media coverage dilute the American spirit. We can disagree on a lot of topics internally but we are unified as a people. We are just in a period of soft men taking advantage of good times created by strong men. The strong men are here and the rallying cry would be heard across the globe if challenged. The history of America is complex and I still find surprises as I learn new things about it. I'm 70 and as far as I know in good health, more like the feeling of being in my forties. I was eligible for the draft (conscription) in 1972 through 1975 when it was done on a lottery basis. I didn't get drafted and I didn't join. It was a time when we began withdrawing from Vietnam and my life expectancy was not so good and was proven by some friends and acquaintances who never did make it back, except for a few who came back in pieces inside caskets. Others that did come back alive were simply not the people I knew before the war.
Historically, what I didn't know until recently was the attack of Pearl Harbor united the US population into a very cohesive hive-mind state. In the 1930's up to 1941 sending young boys to summer camps was a thing. But what I didn't know until recently is that the majority of summer camps were sponsored by the NAZI party that was gaining a major foothold in America's youth. Then Japan attacked and it changed the course of the US and to some degree, the world. The difference between WW1 and WW2 was huge. In WW1 we helped our allies and became more sympathetic toward European Nations and of course, there was a sour note of debt and the affects on American economy that drove most Americans toward isolationism thereafter. At first there was the roaring 20's and then the great depression that opened up American's to organized crime on a large scale and experiments in socialism with a strong influence of the Nazi party. So, Japan really screwed up. They hit us in our home, we truly reunited to pledge allegiance to the Starts and Stripes. And, it turned us into a war machine with the realization that no nation could truly operate independently from the rest of the world. In order to protect our own ideals, we had to build outposts all over the world as a protective and pro-active measure against another Pearl Harbor type event in the future.
Now, with nuclear weapons and the advent of space exploration and new technologies growing like wildfires I feel it is though we are back in a place like the 1930's. We make commitments and contracts and more often than not we break those contracts. Marriage is almost a joke. Kid's brought up by one parent only is on the rise that seems to equate to higher levels of crime. Tribalism in the US is on the rise and the gang and mob violence is the product. Many people seem to feel the deserve a high salary without having to work for it. Kids get trophies for being in last place. I see a lot of people that want the "good life" but are not willing to work for it because they feel it is their right whether or not that put any effort toward it. I could go on and on, but I'll end my little rant with the hope that I'm not talking about mainstream America. Hopefully it's only the loud few that want recognition as valued members of society, but do nothing to actually add value to society.
