No one greets the rookies like Bird! 🤣😂🤣
yea bro😂😂
Bird, Jordan, the glove, Miller and barkley. That would be my 5.
thats a fair 5
It's the eye test. Nobody was more entertaining to watch than Larry. Because you just never knew what he was going to do. But he was going to hustle. And he was going to be everywhere doing everything.
TO ME i think MJ was the most entertaining to me
Yes, Michael was fun to watch too! And Magic, and I enjoyed Dominique as well.
yes,i liked watching dr j too,and hakeem too, also scottie as well
I think Larry's my favorite because I was the same age as Larry and Magic, and the players of the 80's. There was always a good game on.
Bird was the only player I've seen who could make the ball arc and spin in mid air when he shot it. He also made spin passes where the ball would bounce and curve right into the players hands for an easy bucket. The guy was totally unique infall facets of the game. Great reaction as always bro.
thank you bro,and yes i agree with you
Pistol Pete was like that, invited to be a Globe Trotter out of college..
Larry Bird is the truth.
MJ himself says Bird was the best trash talker, coming from him says a lot. (saw him saying on a vid in a gym where kids were asking questions)
i believe it
BACK IN THE DAY, (i guess they still do) EVERY ROOKIE HAD TO CARRY BAGS ON ROAD TRIPS, PAY HIS DUES AND BE HAZED. BIRD's 1ST ROAD TRIP AS A ROOKIE TOLD HIS CELTIC TEAM: I WANT YOU GUYS TO KNOW, IM NEVER GONNA GET YOU ANY WATER, AND IM NEVER GONNA CARRY 1 BAG, EVER !
The "Glove", nice pick!
yessir💯
Nobody trash talked
like Larry Bird ! The
missing 5th pick for
trash talker is …
REGGIE MILLER
not barkley?
@@itzkhiiii
Barkley , honorable mention
ok ok
yes, Reggie Miller also got welcomed to the league by Bird, trying to trash talk him while he was shooting fouls- Bird shut that right down..
Nice.
Great reaction..
Dunk contest..Spud Webb
oh yeaa thats the year jordan was injured
Manute Bol's wingspan was longer at 8' 6" than Mo Bamba's 7' 10". People forget about Manute. He was one of the only guys that could consistently block Larry's shots.
but bird still cooked him
@@itzkhiiii Of course. But how many people could have said that?
not many
He was so good in all aspects of the game!
In his prime Bird was as good or better than anyone who ever played the game.🏀
Larry Legend is the G.O.A.T of trash talkers. 😎
agreed
Miller
When the great trash talkers all say you are #1 its gotta be true Barkley miller payton and mj all said bird was #1
GOAT
He would kill the current NBA
fasho
Bird is amazing
yess
Great video!
thank you!
Larry was in the top ten in MVP voting every year in the 80s except for the season he missed for surgery. Three consecutive second place finishes then three consecutive wins. 4th his rookie year. The only Rookie of the year, MVP, MVP of the playoffs, MVP in the finals, coach of the year and executive of the year. Pretty good resume 😅
A GREAT resume,i wish he played longer though
@@itzkhiiii me too but he played 7 years with his bad back, still drove for loose balls and put up his stats, actually played 12 seasons, missed one for double Achilles heels surgery, made the All Star team 12 times including coming back from the double surgery. founding father of the 50 40 90 club and had a 4 year span where he averaged 50 40 90 in his prime years. it would take too long to list his resume.
Now imagine if he didnt have those injuries tho,he would probably be the greatest player ever
Love it,
Larry legend Air balled it on purpose 😂
😂😂😂
Dont forget about Reggie Miller.
Great commentary! Thank you.
noo,thank YOU
Larry would talk trash and tell you what he was gonna do.. Backed it up. It would happen.
Charles Barkley #5
Reggie Miller at 5 spot
i would agree
No #5? Give that slot to Reggie!
fair enough
I think you have to consider Bill Russell for that top 5 list. 13 years in the NBA, 11 championships. For a team that had never even gotten to the finals before his rookie season. Then after winning his 11th title and retiring, the Celtics' next year they went 34-48 and missed the playoffs entirely.
Well i don’t put him up there because he does not have a finals mvp despite the 11 chips, and in order to be in the conversation you got to be solid offensively and defensively, but he is top 10 for sure
I wanna know if Sean Kemp ever went to Larry's house
probably
I have one name for entertainment in the dunk contest straight out of the 80s.....Spud Webb
for sure
Reggie Miller no2
He missed that 3 point airball on purpose. Just to make his point
Lol
Jordan learned his trash talking from bird.. Larry welcome Jordan to the league. When jordan was a rookie he trashed talk jordan a bunch
Great vid and reaction. Really enjoying your Bird content. Subbed.
thank you for the feedback,we will be doing more larry bird here and i appreciate the sub
If you haven't watched it yet, check out the dunk context with Spud Webb. It's great, and not what you would ever expect! Lol! 😄👍🔥🏀
we could look into that fasho
You need a 5? Try Barkley or Reggie.
ill take barkley
Larry had NO THREE POINT LINE IN HIGH SCHOOL. HIS BROTHER DID. See how many buckets were scored NOT HOW MANY POINTS
bird would have had much more points too if they had a three point line
right, and no college 3
Barkley talked some shit.
oh yea i forgot🤦🏿♂️
Larry Bird didn't have a 3 point line in college like his Brother Eddie had in his career. And most of Larry Bird shots are from outside. So add at least 150 points to Larry Bird. And I'm sure that's on the low side.
Michael Jordan learned the effectiveness of trash talking firsthand from Larry Bird when Michael was a rookie.
even before that,during the olympics!
@@itzkhiiii , Michael Jordan joined the Bulls in 1984. He didn't play on the Dream Team with Larry Bird until 1992.
no no,im talking 84
before he was even in the nba
@itzkhiiii , Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about. When the college guys had one half of the court and the NBA players were down the other end. A ball came rolling down from the college end that was picked up by Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan came down to get it. Michael held out his hands, and Larry fired the ball back down to the college end over Jordan's head.
Jordan never beat larry bird and they matched up a lot of times
Too early to say if Mo Bamba is a bust. He's only 25. Jordan didn't win a championship until his age 27 season, so it's entirely possible Mo Bamba will improve to a reliable starter, which is probably the point where I'd say you're not a bust at #6.
hey noob in dunk contest vince=chip one sorry
Bro what? Lol
13:00 - lol well, if they got brain-washed into not including Bird in their top3 _in_ _the_ _first_ _place_ - it should be considered as "treatment" to brainwash em back to sanity, no? 🧠🪥
😂😂😂
