Jordan definitely could’ve had 2-3 more MVP’s. After Bird’s injuries caught up with him in 87 then MJ was the best player. I’m a fan of Magic but he had Kareem & Worthy. The media got on Kareem’s bad side and since he was a tough interview he got robbed of several MVP’s & FMVP. Jordan probably should’ve had 1 more DPOY but Rodman & Hakeem were better Pippen & MJ were equally good on defense. Pip had height & strength but Jordan a touch faster & his hops helped

I saw these passes Michael did in the late 90's. This man did have some awesome passes. These are some reasons why I'll always consider Michael Jordan the G.O.A.T.

I'm a Bird guy being from Boston my whole life but yeah MJ was the real deal and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a Jordan fan! He was a lot of fun to watch play through the years. Bird was different...the lakers had more firepower, Larry flat out dominated all the greatest player in the most golden era of basketball. You didn't watch those years, you did not see the physicality, the mental toughness durning this time...these men were warriors. No one today has ever been tested like these players....not physically or mentally.... Larry dominated this era...including Jordan!

And finally, if not for Magic and Bird there would be no modern NBA. Their rivalry revived a sport that was literally on life support. They didn't even bother to televise NBA games live (including playoffs). It was tape delayed and replayed at obscure times. That alone makes them relevant in any era because they saved the sport.

So if you say Magic wouldn't do well on this era, then your are essentially saying the "point-foreward" is not valued. Because make no mistake, he is who Lebron emulates. His decision making "at speed" surpasses anyone who plays today. And his versatility would very much make him a force. Not to mention the intangible of his winning mindset. It wasn't this game or series I dont think it was the same season but there was one game a playoff game I think where bird went to get a rebound & was fighting for it as a loose ball slammed his jaw on the floor & ended up breaking his jaw. he left the game to the locker room celtics up but the other team either the hawks or lakers I think started taking advantage of Bird being off court to the point that Bird broken jaw & all came back on the court to finish the game & ended up making sure Celtics won by several points after the other team had clawed back most of the points the lead was when Bird got hurt. You wouldn't/ wont see Kobe or Lebron do that even in their youth let alone their 30s. You can't even compare Lebron to Bird or Johnson or Thomas or Wilkins.

He played during the era of the Superstars and he beat em' all.
