- A quick tour of my Fall/Autumn and Halloween candles. There is still a lot I need in my collection. But, not a bad start for only collecting for 3 years. Also a peek into the backstory on why I started collecting candles.

Thanks for sharing! We find watching candle content comforting. One of us has become disabled so we don’t get out except for Dr visits. Keep on pouring wax and talking about candles and spooky stuff, it helps others and we hope you continue to find comfort in wax!

Starting a youtube channel is not easy. Putting yourself out there is hard.
After having my kids I dealt with depression. I decided to start a channel (and do something I wanted to do for years) instead of taking pills.
So I understand.
I'm glad you find a way to express your true self. I love you personality, I think you are awesome!

Thank you for sharing your story. I too was an alcoholic and would binge every single weekend. Got tired of feeling like shit the next day and the older I got the longer the recovery period was. Went to rehab in '16 & sober ever since. Also lost both my parent early on. You're truly an inspiration to a lot of people. Love your collection BTW.

Great collection! Saw a lot of stuff from smaller companies i never heard of that looked really cool! DId you ever get to try out absinthe minded wicks back in the day? They had some crazy good halloween and spooky candles, some of my favs of all time from them, wish they would come back since i only have a quarter of each of my favs left that ill never get to burn. Some crazy pulls in this collection too, the old kringle halloween jars are so cool, i need to get one of those old witches cauldron jars! 🎃
Thank you! I started collecting after Absinthe Minded Wicks quit making them. I would love to have some, but very hard to find. The older Kringle Witches Cauldrons smell way better!!! I don't know why. 🎃🎃🎃
@@SouthofSanityCandles Im a total believer that they toned down the smoke in the later iterations of witches cauldron, side by side last years compared to the 2021 pours is almost night and day, and ive even heard that the 2019-2021 pours dont compare to the original so its definitely my white whale candle!

That trick or treat black band.... oh my glob. the jack o lantern washington wicks at 10:13 label is amazing. what's the name of that candle? also I've never seen those little mason jar ones.
Illuminating 😆 the jack o lantern candle is called The Tricker Tree. The masons are from a company called Country Rich Creations. 🎃 🎃

@srainey7946 It's a lot more brighter than you would think with those scent notes. Almost leans toward a cologne. I agree, the notes sound perfect, but on cold it goes a whole different direction. 🤷♂️
@@SouthofSanityCandles Hmm... I may skip it then. I was expecting more of the patchouli to come through with kind of a graveyard type scent. It costs a lot to get these candles that aren't sold anymore and it's tough when you can't smell them first. Thank you! 😁
