    Thanks for being here. I know your time is valuable, so I'll keep it short. I own a company called 4LC Studios. I do video production (weddings, commercials, and anything else that grabs our attention). This youtube channel and everything I post is about the journey. I love sharing what I'm learning, how I'm growing, and how I'm failing. I hope you'll follow my journey and be a part of the conversation.

      I think you will know why you need the three years videography course only when you attended it. Really, you won't even know what you've missed, until you really start learning it.
      Don't take me wrong, I'm not saying this is a bad "how to" film, it is really a good one in fact, I gave a thumb up. But this film only covered a fraction of what you will need to know when it's your turn to do it.
      So, you still need that 3 year course + 3 more years experience if you are going run this business.

The behind the scenes really helped me with what to get/bring, what to expect on the day, what shots to think about. I feel like with high-stress wedding shoots like this, getting the actual shots isn't as much of a burden as talking to everyone and making sure everyone is on the same page and understands what the plan is. As well as being assertive, but friendly, with everyone and getting everyone together to get the shots that you want and know will make the film better. Great behind the scenes, thank you for making this.

    This so reminds me of any event I have filmed in the past. Production people are the first ones to arrive and the last to leave. As I will be filming a wedding in a couple months, this was fantastic to watch. Thanks!

    What a legend, thank you for sharing - There's so much to learn from this that goes way beyond videography, I have always thought if your profession means you have to interact with people, you have to learn how to manage people and situations to have a chance of mastering your craft and you do both, with ease - anybody with a camera aiming to be a professional should watch this video! Massive respect from the UK

    big thanks to him, Wedding photography big event, stress, pressure, a lot of list in the mind you have to do with no mistakes, it's not someone sitting behind computer writing comment about what you should do,
    it's not an easy job, it's not easy to find someone shares with you his work and show you what to do, you get that with experience and many practices, easy to watch but not easy to do it in the first time.
    it's like doing a film team by yourself, you the actor and the director and the cameraman.

    I was just looking at my equipment, which I am quite proud of at the moment and worked a lot for (A7iii with 1 lens, A6000 with 3 lenses, Mavic 2 Pro, Zhiyun Crane Plus). Looking at your gear makes me feel like I own a toy camera :')

    • @rockboyjazz
      @rockboyjazz Před 5 lety

      LeniVidiVici Cinema lol what!? his gear is pretty standard for any professional videography business out there. And when it comes to camera, A7III is one of the best hybrid shooters in the market right now. A lot of my friends went from using GH5 to A7III.

    • @sierradolch
      @sierradolch Před 5 lety

      @@rockboyjazz Hey! I'd really like to know why they switched over, because I've been looking at both the GH5S and the A7RIII. I'm leaning more towards the GH5S, and am really into film, but I'd still love to hear other's take on it who have more experience than me! Thanks in advance! :)

    I am going to do my first wedding soon. This was soo incredibly helpful. I took five pages of notes. I will consume these notes; digest them and embrace the on-the-run craziness. I love how you preach kindness no matter what. I agree with every way you handle yourself and interact with others. You are spreading great energy to all around you.
