I bought it and used it in London for two and a half weeks in October. It's great, but having never used a gimbal-type device before, it took some practice. Also, if you press very lightly on the joy stick button, it will pan slowly (which I wasn't aware of), and the results look great!

Is it possible to use in in underslung position? I mean that when I try to switch it on in underslung position gimbal do not work correctly. And because of my equipment the gimbal need to be switched on in that position

Hi, Please help. Single click on trigger button doesn't take me to F mode. I did single click from all other modes but it never took me to F mode. I cant go to F mode at all !!. As given in manual, Long press on trigger button activates F mode and it goes back to previous mode upon releasing the trigger. The firmware version is 2.02 upgraded on 27 June 2020, The Gimbal is purchased in January 2020.. Please help to solve the problem. How to go to F mode.

Hi! Is it possible to balance a smartphone properly and leave enough gap between the right side of phone & the tilt motor so that external mic / headphone could be connected? I mailed Zhiyun but they did not answer in a definitive manner. What is the point in investing so much money in this gimbal if still the mic ports are blocked like a entry level gimbal? Is a sony a6000 to heavy to use vortex mode? cuz even though I have set my gimbal axis motors to high it won't do a complete vortex and I'm just using the 16-55 kit lens.
It would start the motion of vortex but right away it seems like it struggles doing it and it acctually just makes a very tiny part of the vortex motion before it kinda loses it and goes back to the start.

I own Zhiyun crane 2 and I shoot video music is perfect ( I walk normally). I just bought Crane M2 Is calibrate perfectly. I know how to setup crane very well. When I shoot I have a bobbing problem ( video bobbing up and down) I think is a design problem? Can you explain??
Why I can't see Crane M2 in the list of gimbel in the ZY Play? And the Bluetooth is not even anywhere in my my new Crane M2. Did I miss something here? I bought mine on Amazon and it's listed with bluetooth and wifi, but none of those work.

It is only available on some mobile phones.
I had many talks with Moment. they said that the following combinations doesn't work on Osmo Mobile 3
- iPhone 11 Pro Max
- Moment Wide or Tele Lens
- 62mm Filter Mount + Variable ND Filter
- Osmo Mobile 3
They said that it's too heavy for the gimbal to handle this.
But how about this Gimbal? Would Zhiyun Crane-M2 be able to handle this load?

Object tracking ? How do you do object tracking? I'm using an iPhone 11Pro. Object tracking does not appear in any menu!

I'm interested in using this primarily with my iPhone 11 Pro (not max) because I like to shoot ultra-wide angle and most gimbal designs get in the shot. I've purchased one up now, but realize that this is geared more for using a standalone camera, and using it with an iPhone 11 pro appears to be less convenient and capable, no? Can you clarify? The Play app for Crane M2 doesn't appear to allow me to select the Ultra-wide lens? It also will not connect to bluetooth outside of the Play app to control recording with the iPhone's native app. Are there any other apps that allow me to connect to this with more functionality? The connection process each time with the Play app is tedious. I wish it would remember my phone and just connect automatically. Is Zhiyun going to add more iPhone 11 Pro functionality to the Crane M2 or app? Other Zhiyun gimbals will allow bluetooth functionality/ connectivity with the phone's native app. I didn't understand that the wifi-only connectivity for the onboard selections is also just for standalone cameras, not for phones. I really want to like this gimbal, but hope to learn that either I've missed something, or there's more iPhone 11 pro capable updates on the way soon. Thanks for your insight!

Is it possible to put the Sony RX100 in the bigger slice so it has more distance to the gible top. Because on this side the RX100 V7 has the entry for an external microphone and if I put it on the short slice there is no place to put the external microphone in.
There is a 1/4" threaded hole on the side of the grip for extending accessory.
Yes, there I put the micro, but it must be connected to the cam and with your installation I cannot put the connector into the cam, no space.

can a combo of A6500 and sigma 16mm 1.4 be used on the M2? if not, can A6500 and sigma 30mm 1.4 be used? in short what compatible lenses in sony E mount can be used with A6500/A6400?

Why does my Zhiyun Crane-M2 keep going to sleep and it goes into axis lock? the crane also wont stay in the position i put it in for instance ill have my Sony a6100 pointing up or down and after a sec or 2 it will go back to it original position as if the motors gave out. why is this? everything is up to date and it calibrated correctly.

what if I dont have a smart phone?....will this gimble function without it?...or is there a motor strength option that needs to be addressed with the smart phone....I guess I want to know if motor strength can be controlled without a smart phone.....thats it....thanks
The gimbal menu also has motor strength settings. But if you need to use more, then you will need the zy play app.
