Hey guys! Last week, Gojira dropped another new song off their upcoming Fortitude album on us, and you know your Uncle Ben Eller was gonna show you how to play that BOING BOING magic they showed us in Amazonia!!! So in this video, we're gonna explore it riff by tasty riff so you can play along with those French Bois and their New Noise.
What kind of stuff does Gojira do? Why, a lot of their standbys, like simple one string riffs, gallops, harmonics, digitech whammy pedal madness, and more! Grab a guitar, tune it down a whole step (DGCFAD), and follow along!
    Gear:
    Dunable Cyclops
    Bare Knuckle Riff Raff pickups
    Airis Parallel Overdrive
    REVV Generator 120 MK3
    Jim Dunlop picks and strings
What Gojira song do you want to learn next? Let me know in the comments!

The boing boing is a Berimbau, a brasilian instrument.
Sepultura and Soulfly used it a lot in songs like Ratamahatta and Umbabaraums.
That Gojira song sounded “so Cavalera” to me when i listened it for the first time it made me smile.
Also with the berimbau there’s a mouth harp.

0:30 7:03 - As you speculate later in the video, this first chord is indeed a major dyad instead of a straight power chord, though these only happen on the second 'chorus variation' (i.e. after "greatest miracle").
    0:27 5:32 5:52 - There's a slide between the G5 & A5 power chord ---3-3/5--- rather than ---3-5--
