Slightly off topic but walkers use to do 24 assorted crisps for £3 before the cost of living crisis, but now not only have they taken 4 bags away making it 20 but also put the prices up between £4.25-£4.50. They think we won’t notice or we are stupid it’s scandalous
Just to add, and also off topic but...Mister Tom's peanut bars were four for a pound until recently. Now they are three for a pound??? How daft do they think we are? Putting up the price is one thing, reducing the weight is another, but taking a whole one away and still charging the same?😆
Roast Beef were amazing! PIckled Onion is amazing also! But they make the inside of my mouth peel a layer of skin.. On a separate note, so do Pickled Onion Space Raiders... Anyone else get this? 🤣
Remember those Walkers Mix-ups ? They were Monster Munch, Wotsits, French Fries and Doritos mixed together in one bag. I remember them around 2014-15 but haven't seen them for a good few years but it seems they are still available if you look online.
Wasn't bad. I also enjoyed the gimmicky monster munch that turned your mouth blue haha. I usually like these sort of things. Apart from the ice cream flavor crisps they once did.
I can remember them just before the lockdown, I think the factories had to cut down on what they were producing so limited their lines and some stuff just never came back.
I love your videos 👍🏆 Many moons ago I worked for a well known bakery and the loaf machine was hovered down and a well known posh store their wrapper would be put in machine and the same bread that was already in the machine would be wrapped in the posh one's wrap and sold for more money 😮 who's to say that's not what's happening to other foods and crisps nowadays 🤷

I won't buy Walkers crisps now, rip off prices. On the theme of the same produce being supplied to various supermarkets. We used to buy our chicken direct from the factory for sometimes a quarter of the price supermarkets sell at. They supplied Morrisons, Sainsbury's, M&S and Waitrose. Same packs of meat, obviously packed with different labels for each supermarket. I guess Waitrose made the most profit out of a pack. The factory sold the packs off cheap as it was surplus to requirements or getting near the sell by date.
I hadn't seen these so am glad you brought them to our attention. I love crisps and walkers are just my non compromise so I'm keen to try one of those at least
Possibly the reason the Doritos flavour ones taste wrong is that Doritos are based on corn chips which have a distinctive flavour of their own, so if they didn't modify the seasoning to compensate the flavour would be different. The other 2 are based on potato starch, so the potato crisp would have the same background flavour.
I used to work with a bloke i used to go fishing with.He asked a mate of his who worked in a crisp factory if he could get some cheese flavouring powder for his groundbait. His mate gave him some and when he mixed it his hands stunk for weeks. He just couldn't get the cheesey smell off no matter how much he scrubbed 😂
12 years ago my wife had a brain haemorrhage, she was in a coma for a few weeks and it took a month for her to wake up properly. During this wake up period one of the few things she would eat was Chilli Heatwave Doritos.
i was totally puzzled by these when i see them , never realiised they were actual crisps time to get to spec savers i think haha cheers for clueing me up mate
Original Monster Munch £1.95 for 6 x 20g bags (120g) vs Crisp Monster Munch £1.95 for 5 x 24 g (120g) Looks like they've done a weight/price comparison. Just a gimmick marketing ploy in my opinion. I'd rather they had just brought out a new flavour of something. Great vlog as always, thank you 😀👍
Brought the Wotsit flavour. My daughter loves Wotsits, but was not impressed with these. Typically blunt teenager, she says they taste like cheese without the onion. She tried 2 crisps & gave me the rest. Nothing goes to waste 😅
To be honest, I've never seen the appeal of "limited edition" products like seasoned potato snacks (there, I've satisfied both of us regarding names) and temporary fast food sandwiches. Why would I buy and try something that I know will be denied to me later even if I like it? Consequently, I nearly always stick with old classics like wasabi dried peas and fig cookies -- they will always be there. As for novelty, well, that's why I cook. BTW, one of the great things about jarred wine-pickled herring is that it contains a decent quantity of pickled onions. What a fantastic sandwich you can make with this!
PS: What you call pot noodles, as near as I can tell, are our ramen noodles. Correct? You'd get a lot of confusion asking for pot noodles in the States, since many of us have legal marijuana.
I usually complain because i don't drive and Tesco is the only supermarket within walking distance and the range for anything generally isn't as good as other supermarkets. For a change, tonight I'm looking forward to going. Definitely picking up the Monster Munch ones. Can't wait to try

Never been a lover of picked onion flavour crisps yet I like pickled onions ( don't make sense does it 😂 ). I do love the beef wotsits my favourite. Hope you and your family are keeping well sending you all love and prayers 🙏 God bless.
Do the crisps leave the powder left behind after like wotsits leaves your hands with orange powder so do Doritos then monster munch is flaky and doesn’t have much powder but fall apart easy. As it’s crisp form I’m guessing the monster munch wouldn’t fall apart east but others may leave the powder depending on how crisp made
Funny when you mentioned torch, I automatically envisioned a flaming rag on a stick held by a medieval pirate in a cave. Sometimes these language differences really are funny. On the subject of chips, I like it better when you cook.
I've been watching your channel since your attempt to eat 32 Big Macs in the car! I think 32 was the goal, but Stokes Bridge was reached well before the record. You ate five! I felt quite sick! I get the Aldi cheesy puffs, which are a lot cheaper than Wotsits. I would not get any of these speciality crisps. The crisps I like best are Tesco hand-cooked plain salted and Seabrook cheese and onion.
