It’s so nice to see someone, in the USA, wearing JCF, Loft and Chico. Their clothes are very reasonably priced and good quality. Don’t leave out JCF jewelry, you can find good quality pieces that will never break the bank.
I love scarves and jackets for the very reason you said -- they upgrade your look. It's like a tie for a man. Sometimes I think the tie on a man upgrades the suit/outfit for a man. Love the kimono look!
That orange T you are wearing in the first shot just lights up your face. I suppose the lighting was good for all the closeup shots, but that first one is the best. It’s your color!!

Same here! I thought I could wear white jeans once my son grew past the toddler age but he’s now 21 and I still get them dirty! No longer his little hands but I manage to sit in things or brush up against things!

Also, white adds “weight” to one’s lower half (which can be a pro or a con).
I always thought that. I’m one who seldom spills on myself, but I am also obsessive about stains. One tiny permanent stain and it’s in the donations pile. However, I have taken white chinos to Key West and find I can wear them about 3 times and they still look fine. I just pay attention to where I sit. In terms of looking heavier, the trick is to make sure you wear skin tone undies and size up in white pants. Tight white pants show all the “texture” in your leg and bum.

Don't forget to include the belt you wore with some of the looks as an accessory. A lot of us have gotten lazy since sweat and yoga pants and have forgotten that our jeans even have belt loops! LOL! All the looks are great, affordable, and for EVERY body! Thanks, Serena! 🙂
I don't always wear belts. And they aren't necessary just bc your jeans have belt loops. It's personal preference. I only wear thin belts occasionally bc I'm short-waisted and belts emphasize that.

Just curious if you think the dark navy striped lady jacket would go with the green wide leg pants, perhaps with either a dark navy tank/tee, or a white tank/tee? Or would that look too bulky? TY
I think it would work if they aren't TOO wide and if you go smaller with the lady jacket. Make it kind of snug. And do a white tank with it!

Did you just get your hair trimmed? It looks so pretty here! And I just watched a video of yours from a year ago and saw your long hair and had to giggle because you looked so much like a kid rather than a lady! Your current cut is gorgeous and if I ever lose some of my face fat I might have to drive to 'Bama and get your girl to cut mine and then my stylist would have the lines to follow for trims. Oh, and that blue and white stripe shirt made your eyes just pop!

I love your casual denim/khaki jackets except for the drooping sleeves, they are not flattering, especially when seen from the back, I prefer my sleeve to start at the shoulder, not half way down my upper arms as they make my shoulders look rounded and somehow make me look fat and as if I was wearing something that doesn't fit me well. Also the dropped sleeve/shoulder is not as timeless as a classic cut, and I want to keep my denim trucker jackets forever

Just curious, what's wrong with the cold shoulder look? By that, do you mean where there's a hole cut out for the shoulders? I always thought it was a perfect alternative to showing creepy upper arms and still give you some skin, shoulders to soak in sun.
They're out of style. And I always thought they looked cheap/tacky even when they WERE everywhere. There are more stylish options. if you want to show your shoulders, just show them! No one is worrying about your upper arms except you.
