I have the same exact GTI. I’m on a CTS turbo back, mishimoto front mount, Integrated engineering C/A intake with a sneaky tuned stage 2 flash on the Cobb v3 accessport. Right now I should be about 350. But now I want to get the IS38 hybrid and do forged internals. Bro. If you get forged pistons and rods you’ll be able to push past 500bhp. It’s pricey. I know. But so worth it. But I’m also a mechanic. So I did all the work myself. If you have to pay for labor then it gets REALLY pricey. But nice car indeed.
Yes sir I have what this motor can do with the appropriate parts. At the moment I am truly happy with the setup I am running. By the way thanks for the watch.

You're running EQT OTS IS38? How did you get the burbles with your exhaust? Sounds amazing!!! I'm running an EQT custom tune on an EQT turbo with APR downpipe with just a resonator and mid muffler. The EQT burbles I purchased sounds manufactured, seems to hit only on certain cylinders. Doesn't sound nearly as nice.
Retune the car, this can sometimes change the car 🤌🏽
So you have your muffler and resonator on?
I have a front muffler/resonator and a smaller rear/mid muffler. Kinda like the APR "mid-muffled" exhaust setup. @@nene2734

Is there a special ground for MK7 second hand stuff? I have the 2015 Audi a3 Quattro with is38. Curious to see if there’s a good second hand market for the community.
I usually find the parts with a mixture of FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE and OFFERUP. And honestly beside maybe 2 parts out of 30, all has been good
Quick question about the ethanol gauge, mine just came in the and the gauge doesn’t for right inside the pod, the bracket on the back of it won’t fit but with the bracket off it fits but loosely
I think the bracket has a screw under it! Tighten it?

Yeah absolutely. The OEM module can’t support the WALBRO via harness and overall load on the module.
I recommend biting the bullet and going BRUSHLESS
How’s the spoiler holding up? Been looking at getting that same one but I’m curious about the fitment and the life span on it
Also what rear diffuser did you say you had by chance?
The spoiler is holding up for being a REPLICA. Fitment is not great. I have the STRAFE diffuser

TBH the car has been pushed and nothing has had to be replaced that was not modified! It’s a great car and has had great reliability for me. Thanks for the comment!
Main issues are leaky sunroof (avoid sunroof models) and the water pump leaks, it's around a $600 part. Otherwise, just do oil changes (liquid molly) and a DSG service every like 60k miles and a carb cleaning every like 80k miles.

I did the delete but do plan on fabricating a bracket! Weirdly the car did set not off a CEL. Thanks for the watch! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@JUAN23GO did you do any coding or did you just unplug the sensor? I asked in the mk7 Reddit if you could delete it, and they said I couldn’t
Took the sensor off, left unplugged at front bumper. Besides the car not using FEC warnings. Everything fully functional.

@@JUAN23GO ni 💨 sigo sufriendo tratando de que pase el smog, ya le quitó el down pipe y le cambié los sensores de oxígeno y nada, según le puse el original, pero al parecer no es.

i test drove both, went with the gti, it is honestly more fun to drive
@@charlie_mk7.5I’ve owned both, both MK7, FBO stage 2. GTI is more FUN, because it’s engaging and rowdy. Pushing it to the limits on the backroads would give me so much adrenaline. Don’t get me wrong though, My R would annihilate my old GTI in every single circumstance time wise.
