Hey mate how tall are you? And how high will ceiling be and bed length?
I'm also looking for someone professional to help me build my van kitchen and bed, any recommendations?
My recommendation is try to do it yourself. I haven't even done it but it couldn't be that hard, its all pretty simple. You will save money and get some self satisfaction by doing it yourself, and maybe learn something you can use in the future, you''ll also have a better understanding of your van so if an electrical component shits itself you might be able to fix it instead of being stuck without power for the rest of your trip, or until you can take it to a shop. but I understand why getting a professional to do it sounds good if money isn't a problem, or even if it is a problem, sometimes for the electrical stuff and what not hiring a pro sounds better but personally im excited to try and build a van by myself and maybe a bit of help from family and friends, good luck with yours!
@@dbikekid2169 appreciate your advice! Actually the electricity I think to do by myself, the carpentry is more of an issue for me. Like building bed, cabinets and kitchen partially. I might get some help though with that, I'll see how I go. Cheers!
@@usheffi If you can do electricals you can do woodwork, might not be the fanciest but you can do it. The only wood working experience I have is a dodgy table I built, but really its all just measuring, cutting and joining. Maybe some sanding here and there, As long as you don't try to get to fancy it cant be to tricky.

You didn't tell us what kind of light weight wood you had used.
He said Meranti.
How did you join the frame together?
We used pva glue and staples to make the frames and when joining it together we screwed it with long timber countersunk screws.
Is it fair for the old guy to be made at someone he hired? Didn’t he check references, etc?
