    Thx for the review. I have a couple of the Ridgid. Been working for us laying decking with the #2sq drive scews. Wish it had a pole attachment. Got them during the 199 deal.

    This is the only review I've found on CZcams that compares different collated screw gun attachments. Nice job!
    Wondering though, have you compared the latest DeWalt collated attachment to the Grabber N7? Also, have you tried Senco's latest auto feed attachment? I saw that the tip of the gun has a slight offset, making it easier to set screws in the corners.

    Here in WV, where I live, we glue the studs. We put 3 screws in the field on every ceiling stud, but on the walls we only put 1 screw in every other stud....holds better ....lot less finishing

      Same thing here in Alberta Canada also started using foam instead of glue. Way faster, easier, cheaper and better

    I appreciate this video, thanks for making it. So just curious you said you would recommend the Ridgid for DIY, Handymen, etc but NOT for people that install drywall full time...Why is that? I plan on buying one of these Ridgid to finish my basement since I already have a handful of Ridgid tools...

      Its a good deal but not as smooth as the others so if you need it daily it tends to act up more though out the day which means more time loss etc. Also as of now ridgid doesnt have replacement bits for sale so once the one you get with the gun goes you screwed. 😂

      It could handle but I wouldn't for some reason Ridgid doesnt sell replacement bits. So once your bit goes, go fish! .making the gun kind of useless if you only use the strips.🤙

      @@iak474 depends on what brand batteries you already own dewalt,makita,hilti and milwaukee are all good for screwing into wood. That being said I find the dewalt with the grabber n7 attachment can't be beat in price or everyday heavy use.

    You ever have trouble with the dewalt trigger? Where you try pullin the trigger to keep it on and it keeps cuttin out.

      No brother if its not the battery the gun might be shorting out. All are dewalt guns are a couple years old running strong. The Dewalt routers on the other hand get replaced ever year and a half they burn out from the heavy use.

    Do you have to use the regular drill to push the screws even more?? Or just the Dewalt with attachment do the job??

      No just remove the auto attachment and finish driving in the screws with same gun.

    If I would've known about the Ridgid sale for 200$ that would have been my lucky day.

      It's like the milwaukee but they don't sell replacement bits so its collecting dust in the shed

    I have the milwaukee platform..but i seen reviews from online that milwaukee gets stuck when your not 100% flush will wall...

    Why not just set it deeper in the corners right away then set it back after? Beats putting it in then fixing the clickers

      At first It was my back up gun that I keepted in the truck, but once the bit wore out it became useless they don't sell replacements for some reason.

      @@brendentaylor8976 no but from what I gathered online you could by a bit similar in size and make it work but for example the dewalt hilti and millwaukee all use different bits that don't make them cross compatible.

    Really liked this comparison. 2 thumbs up. Bought openbox Grabber N7 for dewalt 620 cordless on Ebay; but it seemed to have a defect for this one. Would not fit on the gun like yours did in the video. Hard to fit over collar and could not lock. too tight. hummm!

      I know exactly what your talking about grabber and dewalt fixed the problem. The base of the gun was design A little different to fit the dewalt rocker Gen 2 . If you want to fix it yourself just have to shave the base of your gun alittle I recommend using a rough sandpaper and box cutter little by little till its not as tight.

    I find screwing corners difficult with all these guns. Is that just a normal thing to get over? Or is there a trick I'm missing?

      Yup thats the only set back to rockers I like to drive them in at angle and once I'm done with the section take off the head and finish driving the ones that are sticking out. That way I don't find my self taking the head on and off for every line.

      No hate they have awesome products but this one wasn't really for the professional in mind. They don't even sell replacement bits for the gun which is poor planning. I love there new cordless light platform.
