British actors know if they try to do an American accent they have to pronounce their Rs more harshly. Actors like Winslet overcompensate and put so much emphasis on annunciating the R that they almost sound like pirates. Its a small critique but I always notice that flaw with British actors.

She are others like her were incredibly brave and resourceful. Unfortunately she was a NZer so it may not interest the american industry. The British made the film Carve Her Name with Pride about Violet Szabo who was a French resistance fighter. These women were extraordinary
