Can we get some step by step videos on things like starting with the type 1 board and how to set base timing and things like how to install bin file tunes from other Nistune users etc. I just had a tuner try to tune my car with nistune and I believe that he might not have done the basic stuff to tune correctly with nistune. He seems to think that my timing belt on my CA18DET must be a tooth off because he couldn't get more that 173HP out of my car. I find it hard to believe seeing that my car with the stock ecu was running very good as cars go. my car has many new parts is a healthy motor but I got disappointing results. My car is a real JDM S13 Silvia Ks model with a ca18det with about 70k original mile. My set up is a newly installed t28bb turbo, Greddy intake and exhaust, 3" turbo back exhaust, all hard piping, FMIC, HKS wastegate and HKS ssqv BOV. I should be able to get an easy 225 - 250HP, so I know the car is good so it must be that this tuner doesn't know how o use Nistune. I would pay for another tune but I fear that in the Columbia SC area f the USA tere is no shops that really know how to deal with nistune. Give some basic start to use videos for nistune and I think you guys need to assume that people don't know what your really talking about. some help please.
