- This story is crazy. I traveled to a rural village in Ethiopia to track down a woman, named Muluwork, who claims to have not eaten in 16 years. Not a single piece of food or a sip or water. And on top of that, she doesn’t use the bathroom!!! After spending a few days observing her fascinating life and interviewing dozens of her neighbors, friends, and family members - I must admit that her story is pretty convincing.

I’m really curious to get your thoughts on Muluwork’s condition! I was not convinced until I spent 2 days with her, interviewed everyone that I could find in her village, and heard about her doctor visits in Dubai. And I must say, there’s no real evidence against her claim - maybe she is indeed a superwoman?! Please share your thoughts in the comments below and let’s get this discussion going!
Oh, come on, man, don't post stuff from fraud-artists. If she's not in a North Korean or Chinese dictatorship with closed-circuit TV cameras on her all the time, we can't prove that she was NOT eating. Not eating or drinking would have been a good trick to know for those Chinese girls killed in orphanages by being locked in a room for days.

I think the language barrier mixed up the meaning of her saying she wants to be famous... she doesn't want fame for the usual reasons, she wants her story to be known to give glory to God.

The 16 year dry fast isn't even the biggest mystery. How did she conceive and give birth to a healthy child? That's what I can't get past
The doctors forced glucose through her blood stream when they knew she was pregnant....I believe that was a big mistake.... Just like she miraculosly fasted for 16 years and counting, who knows what other miracle we were going to witness. Sometimes, science does't know shit!

She said the child needed IV fluid and was given after birth.But naturally it doesn't make sense.
The video said something about her getting glucose during pregnancy from doctors. I'm not sure if injected or through swallowing, but still that's not enough nutrients. I agree, the child being healthy is the biggest miracle! I mean children lacking just one vitamin, folic acid, causes extreme brain deformities and those children don't live past a few hours.

What a sweet family. I feel bad for her being interrogated like this tbh, but she seems very well put together and has lovely people around her, so I hope she's doing great ❤. She's a sensitive soul, and so were her family, I could tell. So gentle. The bearded white man was interviewing her in good faith I believe, but the other man seemed to be disbelieving and I felt her energy shift and I feel bad that someone with a rare condition needs to prove themselves, it's exhausting. When you go visit someone, I feel like it's best to just appreciate their hospitality and time, and leave them in peace.

I have heard her story on EBS years ago and she said growing up she was struggling a lot in life and sometimes being starved is one of them and one day she asked God for a food because she was hungry but God on the other side make the starvation go away and she never had to eat from then.

Muluwork is very happy to not need food or drink of any kind. She loves to cook and feed people who need nourishment to live, but she has NO desire or need for food. She would not be special if she had to eat. She's like a Heavenly being who doesn't need food or drink. This miracle is one of many signs from God, that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and God lives in Heaven, our eternal destination if we're good and kind like Muluwork.

I met a woman in Switzerland who was very similarly humble like Muluwork but she must be in her 70 ties now. She did not tell anybody in that course of family constellation that we attended that she does not eat. However when we walked back to the train station I asked her if there was something special in her life that might be interesting to tell me about. So she shrugged her shoulders like well, there is nothing really special that I could tell you except for maybe that I dont eat since many years. It goes completely unnoticed here in Switzerland. If you are interested I could ask a friend of mine who probably still knows her name.

I do believe her, I've experienced the same thing, and I had to teach myself to eat. Most of the time I feel so much better when I don't and I get a surge of energy and healing that I can't explain. This taught me that fasting heals the body, and most of us are sick from eating food. I healed myself just by not eating and It changed my life. Just because the majority eats does not mean this is impossible. it's just the fact that it's not the norm.

I lived off water and apple juice for 3 months. I have cancer. My total taste for food was gone even though I wanted it. When I would try to eat I would vomit it back up even juice and milk. Hard time for me. I believe her. With God nothing is impossible.

@@leachville3001 they do say that doctors monitored her for a week, but one can definitely dry-fast for a week, some people do it for several weeks up to one month. so all that being sad, she'd have to be monitored for longer.

I've noticed a lots of people calling her liar but that's human nature. Anytime we come across anything beyond our basic logic and scientific explanations, we tend to disprove them but it shouldn't always be like that.
Isn't it more likely she is just a liar? It would be easy to prove by putting her in a metabolic ward and tracking her weight. If true, she's not only a medical miracle but she violates the laws of physics as we know them.
That is because if we can not demonstrate something independently, then there should not be a reason to trust/accept as fact.

Our understanding of biology and science in general is about finding solutions to problems and feeding our curiosity. Additionally, there are lots of things we know in the body but can't explain why and what they do. I just see her case as not being different.

I have met some people living without food for a few years but most of them drink. I have heard the sentence from them: food it's a stronges addiction we have. There was a famous Indian fellow with similar claims. They were paying and studying him at the university of Arizona. Nasa was also in the loop. This one was "eating sunlight". Everything credible, until he was seen at local India buffet in search of some sunlight. China has some charlatans like that, making a financial killing from a large following. One of my ex GF's was a disciple. These people are delusional, they were drinking 7up and claiming that they eat less and were on the path to "no food". I am shock by the number of people falling for this scam. The fact that she is breathing, is evidence that she has been consuming food. The carbon dioxide we exhale is a direct product of the food we consume. She has been exhale CO2 for 16 years with out consuming food, where is the CO2 coming from. If she isn't exhaling any carbon dioxide, it means that she isn't breathing in O2, Oxygen is released to cells from Haemoglobin, as the absorption rate of carbon dioxide is increases.
Also, where did she get the nutrients to grow and develop a whole baby without consuming nutrients. How did she breastfeed

I know, I fast a lot of times for over a week. I'm young and poor and have been anorexic before. When fasting I'll literally gain 2 lbs after the week but was drinking water. If I'm stressed and don't get food, I lose weight so fast. I'll drop a lb if I miss a meal. But legitimate fasting when I run out of money maintains my weight. Like my mind saying we aren't allowed to drop weight because then we'll die. This is a small case, but there is logic here that fasting somehow compounds satisfaction since normal caloric math doesn't add up. You could say it is my brain and body going into survival mode, however all of that is BS however way you want to conclude and explain it to fit your narrative. We have Quantum Physists who can't agree on whether or not particles and atoms exist.

We die faster mostly due to the garbage we eat. Uts what you leave out that makes you healthier mostly. I eat only raw fruits and veggies for almost 39 years. Raw vegan diet ....most people think im nuts. I think it is possible if she is living far away from stress and chemicals and wifi...in fresh air walking around barefoot.

@@user-pg3qr2wk7h on average, a human can only go 3 days dry without water. Dry meaning the clock begins 24 hours after your last sip. The food bit is irrelevant at that point. If she made it a week without water, that is already reason enough to be impressed. Whether she has some weird 1 in a billion way of metabolizing things through osmosis...IDK lol. But liar or not, a week without water is beyond the the ability of 99.9% of us.

Going without water involves going without food too since water is still in all food (excluding fully dehydrated man-made things). You will die from thirst before you die from hunger because your body can convert your body into food...it cannot create water.

This girl was a house maid and the family who hired her were very much concerned about her not eating and if I remembered it right, she was let go back to her village and the guy from Addis heared about her and went to visit her. This word goes out to local authorities and they think it will be a good tourist attraction for that remote area. The local authorities built a house where she can stay and see guests. I beleive the girl is not lying but its is beyond scientific explanation. if a person fall from a high rise building let us say 10th floor and survived; I thing we just call it a miracle or a lucky person, same goes for Mulualem, she is as honest as that beautiful village we saw on the video.

Sadly, I believe it is physically impossible not to eat or drink. Unless she was put into a test home with everything she needed but no food and water. Guys, I'm from Ethiopia and I first heard about her story almost 10 years + ago when she came on a famous talk show. Then I didn't believe her because back then she claimed she hasn't eaten for 3-5 years(I dont remember the exact claim but it was years). This story is now getting momentum and I for one believe her. Scientifically and medically, yes its not possible. But lets be honest, science also confirms that there are a lot more things that are unknown than that are known.

I saw coverage of another person who does not eat, a man in India if I remember correctly. I could assume that Muluwork has not grown bigger since she stopped eating. I assume she does not perspire since she doesn't intake water. The guy in India at least brushed his teeth with water. Energy that we use does not all come from food. Some comes from sunshine falling on our skin, and some could even come from electromagnetic radiation going through us all the time. Recent scientific knowledge about a healthy body and its processes like autophagy and fasting can explain how Muluwork can continue to function.
I have theorized that angels and someday us, after we get our glorified bodies, get energy directly from God via zero point energy that flows around and through us. We may have to some extent the ability now to get our energy that way but we just haven't honed our skills like Muluwork so we don't use more energy than we absorb. I would also assume that she has lost some weight over 16 years unless she takes in the essentials elements for body building through breathing. Carbon, oxygen, water vapor, nitrogen, maybe even traces of potassium and phosphorus are available from the air or through touch through our skin. Skin is a semiperiable membrane after all. Muluwork is special but maybe we'll all be that way some day.

(it is very clear she loves cooking). Such incientances are common in many traditional homes in Papua New Guinea (Pacific), where ladies who cooked food often lose their appetite to eat, after prolonged inhaling of the steam coming out from the cooking food and soup. I just never heard of anyone living on steam (only inhaling of steams from food) as a source of energy for 15 plus years. Those, I know, often ends up eating later on. The reason that happens is basically from smelling food all the time. Your appetite disappears because your brain gets tricked into thinking you ate. You’re still just as hungry, only difference is you don’t “want” to eat.
(I happen to know this feeling quite well just because my metabolism’s too fast & eating makes me sick, then the food’s gone after a few minutes)

And Im surprised no one asked about whether she menstruates, since that would require bathroom access. The interview seemed very unprepared and they shouldve brought more qualified people to conduct it, like a physician or someone trained in the medical field who's knowledgable on the human body. My grandmother had a subsistence garden. She spent all day, growing, harvesting, processing, canning. She told me she didnt eat with the family because she got full on the "vapors" of the food. So basically, you think you have the authority to declare her a research study just because you find her different, she deserves to aiutomatically become a "lab rat", just to sooth your inquiry? Is it not enough for you to hear and know that there may be someone or something that exists that's different than you and you walk away (and be okay with knowing that we are all uniqely different even though we carry these identical body structures) with your opinion, whether you choose to except it's actuality or not? It is astounding to come across this kind of people with incredible ability, and the experience is different when it is from the country I reside in. In fact, this is one of my very wishes some times ago, but I have not got the courage to try it, because I thought the only thing I get from that would be making myself look silly in frony of people for the fact that I had perceived no human would survive for long without consuming food or drinking water. Thank you; for bringing out such kind of amazing humans and let the world notice them.
