Workshop 009 Dealing with Dealies

- As this project matures, there are more and more things to deal with. And they're all connected. I can't do this without that. But that can't be done until you finish this. Etc. Best bet I think is to just let my eyes wander a bit until I focus on something and tackle that for a little bit. Until something else catches my eye, and SQUIRREL!

I’m really enjoying this series. Don’t get so busy you don’t leave time for yourself and those pups.
You, my friend, are a terrific thinker and craftsman!😊
I cannot wait to see the design that Marty will come up with for the sides of the workshop. I'm sure it going to involve Zoffinger, Kon-Tiki, and tiki statutes.
NOTHING BUT AWSOMENESS HERE...👍💯🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Love the regular vids, please keep them coming!!
I always learn a new idea watching these.
Awesome work Marty! 👏 🛠️ it’s really looking good! 👍
I can totally relate to the part where you get sidetracked. That happens to me all the time when I start a project and something else pops up that needs to be done first. You can spend all day in Sidetrack City if you're not careful. Love your videos. Keep On Keepin On
I am always watching for great and innovative ideas from you Marty. Love the project but don't forget to take some time fish. All "work" and no play makes a boring man. LOL!!!
Small suggestion 🤔 Install solar panels so that there is an air gap. the panels will provide some shade and airflow will reduce heat at the roof level. 👍
also, the air gap will keep the panel temp lower, in doing so the panel will be more efficient.
He can install an exhaust fan in there to circulate and push air out. Run it on the solar. Solar lights too.
Great to see lots of posts from you Marty
Thanks
Loving the content. Great work on your mobile work shop. Very inspiring to tackle some DIY projects around my place
Looking forward to seeing the finished product Marty.
Great video! Man, I wish I was that creative. Great job, Marty!
Love your projects.
Enjoying your transformation of the trailer into your shop. It seems you always come up with a good solution to a problem. Look forward to the next one.
The inching along part cracked me up thanks Marty.
Workshop looking good!!!!
Nice update Marty. Surprised you didn't use a couple of those 'dealies' to tie the bungy off to rather than drill through the door frame.
Stay safe & well. 👍👍
Good job Marty
with a solar array its less expensive to wire your system in series, as you can run lower gauge cables / connectors / fuses etc... but the down side is if even one panel is shaded it shuts down solar intake. i hate to suggest the more expensive option of wiring in parallel but with your workshop being shaded like it is that might be the best option. or relocate the workshop to an area with a clear view of the sky. also for max performance allow the panels to be tilted. in your area for 2024 the optimum solar panel tilt angle is 28* from horizontal. this will allow you to get "full sun" for longer.
a quick solution would be to use stainless door hinges to allow your array to pivot say to the passenger side and point that side to the east. maybe a 12v actuator to lower the panels back to flat, this will allow you to capture more "full sun" at the end of the day. and they wont be up in the air when you need to drive somewhere. id be happy to help design the mechanics of it for you. i have done it several times for myself always conscious of budget, im a clever man not a wealthy one.
That’s a pretty much how my brain works. The pre tasks before the tasks that you want to do lol
Marty I noticed whenever you started a power tool, your black pup exited stage left. …lol
Before painting anything more i suggest you use self etching primer on thoose aluminium parts or youre gonna be dissapointed. Great video tho!!
🖐😎👍
Whenever I do something, I usually have to find my drill cause I just had it a minute before and I put it down and I forgot where I put it
I always get distracted by sidequests.
Hey Marty, just wondering if you have sold the black Ford yet. I need a work truck. We met a couple years ago and live pretty close.
Did your friend Mike ever finish the LOOP ?
Hi Marty! Wtf you been up to bro???
Really not to sure why I re-subbed again.
People build this 💩 every day, and yet this dude acts like it’s some Bob Villa hard to build item. 🤷🏻♂️
I enjoyed the channel when it was a boating & fishing thing.
But multiple videos of a boring build is ridiculous. Keep up the great work bud-
I’m gonna unsubscribe for the moment.
