I just bought the exact same moped, i love it but i dont now the laws. do i need to register it, get plates, licsene and insurance? I live in Ontario. I want to go for a ride but im concerned about breaking any laws. Let me know if you can. Its a beautiful moped. Great video
Motorcycle and moped registration includes licence plates and a vehicle permit. Licence plates are required for motorcycles and mopeds when driven on public roads. When registering your moped at a ServiceOntario centre, you must show the bill of sale

43 is the top speed I have generally seen for different types of 4-stroke scooters. I'm sure there are some exceptions but this seems to be the general rule . 20-30MPH

Where did you buy it from. I want to buy one.
Unfortunately, buying a Tomos Moped LX Turbo Exhaust 49cc Made in Slavonia, is not as easy any more. This 2001 model can only be purchased by a reseller. Don't purchase the Moped if: Shimmy and shake could be bent wheels or bad tires. Listen to the engine for internal noises and feel for clutch slippage. After the test ride, discuss the bike's history with the seller. Wait a couple minutes and look under the bike for any drips that could be caused by bad crank seals, leaking engine cases, or a transmission seal. After a few minutes, ask to start it again and see how easily or difficult it starts. It should idle without stalling. Appearance wise, does it have an odd ball paint job? Mismatched parts, pitted chrome, ripped seat? It all knocks off the asking price. A non-running moped should be had for under a hundred; a clean, well maintained, easy start moped could fetch several hundred. Don't forget to Subscribe and Like and Share.
+Hockey Hockey thanks will keep that into consideration

Why is "Canadas Best bike" in the description if the bike isnt canadian... Im confused.
Great Question. In Canada Gas prices are very expensive. Most Canadians like the Tomos Moped. I will be uploading a new video in 4 weeks. Subscribe and Like.
Why won't you folks use a kick start, like the rest of the world? Those pedals were from old mopeds, and they are obsolete.
If it doesn't have pedals its not a true moped.
I would rather have a false one than put that retirement home add ones :D
@@Kauntvlada lot of states in US require pedals to consider it moped and cops aren’t worth dealing with
