    THIS video explains how the keypad is associated to seat memory positions, finally. I searched a LOOONG time to find that info. So easy. The personal keypad code you enter in position 1-2 uses seat memory 1, the code in keypad position 3-4 grabs seat memory 2, etc. Thank you random Ford sales guy in the video!!!

    Worked like a charm. I bought my 2016 Turbocharged Ford Fusion used 2yrs ago and couldn't find the original key code. I knew how to lock the doors on the key pad, but didn't have the code to unlock. Now I have it and created my own key pad code. Appreciate you for making this video!

    Under drivers side dash you will see a little box white a white sticker on it. There is a 5 digit number on that sticker and for those trying to figure out code well that 5 digits is your keyless entry code 👍🏻

      Depends on the year, make, and model. For instance, I have a 2007 Mercury Mariner. For me, it's under the center console, and if you look under the dash back towards the center console, it's on the little module, but it's not a sticker. It's actually printed on the module itself

    Another good reason to add a personal code: If you have to give the code to a mechanic, parking attendant, daughter's boyfriend, whoever - you can set a new code for them, they use the vehicle, then you set a different code for the 1/2 or 3/4. The code you gave to the mechanic, etc. will no longer work.

      It’s behind the glove box, to the right of the fuse box.
      -So, slide the passenger front seat all the way back. (For space)
      -look under glove box, and remove cloth panel, by pinching both plastic tabs.
      -then look up and there will be a sticker/label with 5 numbers and a letter (e.g. 51737L), right beside fuse box.
      That’s your door key number.

      I would think you would just press the 3/4 button twice since you have two 3’s at the beginning. I just noticed like the buttons are for either number. Like if you had either a 5 or a 6 as part of the code you would just press the 5/6 # if that makes sense. Like there is no distinction of the number...

      @bobziho Před 6 lety +5

      There are 5^5 = 3125 different codes. And the thing locks for 1 minutes if you enter 7 wrong codes.
      Assuming you type a code in 5 seconds, you need about 100 seconds to test 7 codes.
      With an average luck, you would have to test 3125/2 = 1562 codes to find the good one. It will need 22314 seconds to do that, that's more than 6 hours.

    So one issue I ran across was my keyless lock pad did not allow me to use my factory or saved pin to get in. Can I save it or is it time to replace?

    What if you have a push start vehicle?! I have dug under the driver side to see the little tag, it doesnt work. Ive reset to factory settings, and it STILL DOESNT WORK. Very irritated at this point.
