Ever since its announcement, This has been my most anticipated film of 2025! And those photos of the Superman and Mr. Terrific suit was like straight out of the comics man! Can't wait!
The Gold symbol on the back of the cape is all I need in life. (Also I talked to a guy in Clevland who said that he asked one of the crew members if the suit would that loose in the film, and the crew member smiled and told him "It will be more fitted to him with editing" Sorta how Chris Evan's Captain America suit was quite roomy for filming until they put it into the editing room)
Well honestly takes away any sort of criticism about the suit for me as that was my only complaint about it otherwise looks great! I mean it's probably his first iteration of the suit I'm guessing will probably get a better one by the end of the film? Even if not it's still pretty solid that was my only complaint was how baggy it looked

God the suit is perfect in so many ways that it almost hurt the whole thing with the collar lol we were this close to a Christopher Reeve level of accuracy, but anyway, it's not like i hated it... I actually love that they even modified the collar to have a more V-shaped form, I like it a lot more now... And about Mister Terrific? They nailed it!!

The suit looks great. They took legacy from the title and put it in the suit. So many artists represented here. The nod to Kirk Allen with the hair is so awesome. To me it shows Gunn cares about the Legacy of Superman.

It even has some elements from the current animated series, My adventures with Superman and as I mentioned earlier, they styled his hair like Kirk Allen, the first actor to ever portray Superman on film in the original serials. I also find it cool that made Metropolis out of Cleveland, where Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1934. Legacy through and through. We should be in for a treat✌🏾
The suit looks like trash, it’s one of the worst suits period. The only thing that works for me is the Superman symbol on the back of the cape. The rest of the suit well I already said it .

The suit overall is great, but it has problems. The suit is super baggy. I think it is like that for comfort and mobility for the actor. Hopefully, they CGI the suit to make it skin tight. I also wish the S was a little higher up and bigger on the upper chest. The side lining on the stomach area needs to be gone. The cape is immaculate and outstanding. I love the S on the back of the cape. The trunks works with the suit. The colors are comic book accurate. Other than that everything is great. Mr terrific, is perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Maybe cut the hair differently.

I honestly think we’re getting the DCU at a good time. The MCU has already done its first big story and is now just setting up for the next massive team up movie, giving DC an opportunity to try again and not rush this time. And now studios are getting so much more comfortable with putting their actors in comic accurate costumes. That’s very evident by the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie and now how characters are looking, so far, in this movie. Mr. Terrific and Superman are practically one for one in terms of comic accuracy. Imagine if this were made a few years ago or in the early 2000s? Mr. Terrific would probably be wearing some Daft Punk looking helmet with a T shaped visor. Thankfully, James Gunn is sticking to the source material for this one

First off, i forgot to comment in a recent video. I am absolutely thrilled that Hamish Linkleater is gonna be Batman's voice in The Caped Crusader. He will bring an immense depth and tortured-ness to the character. Me and my best friend both watched Midnight Mass (thnx to your recommendation Boba) and were completely blown away by that show. Gonna watch it again real soon. I am in seventh freaking heaven that we will be getting The Penguin and TCC this year.
Honestly I love how thick the suit looks and I love that it looks baggy in some images (barely). An issue I’ve always had with the Superman suit in live action is that it just looks like a skin tight onesie like it’s stuck to his skin whereas this looks more like clothes and like something he could take on and put on easily

The thing that I noticed with the leaked photos he looks like the strongman from the circus that the Superman suit was originally based on so I appreciate that. I also like the vibrancy of the suit the blue is blue and the red is red. I want the comic book accurate costumes for the rest of the dcu.
Tyler Hoechlin’s and Rouths’ kingdom come outfit are far better than Gunn’s version. And they’re CW-low budget suits at best. Hope they use heavy CGI on the suit to improve it.
I love these suits!!!! Mr. terrific looks amazing and Superman looks great. My only gripe is the lines on the suit but at least they’re all the same color.

It is a diff version of the suit btw the reveal pic was a prototype, same design but small difference if you look at the collar shape. Battle damaged suit has a rounded collar at the front but the set leaks it's more of a V shape

Yeah I don’t think the suit is gonna be wrinkled or flimsy anything like that. I can’t see a world in which anyone thinks a baggy suit will look ok. If I’m remembering correctly this is usually a problem with set photos, by the time the movie comes out we don’t even remember. I think it’s gonna look great and I’m a huge fan.

New suit looks like a cheap kids Halloween astronaut costume lol But the more i look at it, its okay because over-exaggerated muscle suit are played out.

I love love love these images but my ONLY critique is that the suit material is a bit too thick/baggy in some areas but they could possibly edit that in post so I’m not too worried.

Man, the colors of the suit are so good! I was already a fan of the suit, but now It's a whole new level. The trunks are perfect, the thick yellow belt, the fucking yellow S on the back of the cape! What a great day to be a Superman fan. Sorry they wouldn't let you use the photos. That's so lame.
@BobaTalks People are complaining about the creases in the Superman suit, but in the All-Star Superman comic (which this movie is taking inspiration from), the suit creases on multiple occasions!

It is a diff version of the suit btw the reveal pic was a prototype, same design but small difference if you look at the collar shape. Battle damaged suit has a rounded collar at the front but the set leaks it's more of a V shape
just what I was hoping for! the suit looks so much better in the leaked pictures. you can clearly see the bright blue and red, the yellow belt with the belt loops, the yellow shield in the cape. really happy seeing these.
