I am in awe and am so grateful for all the members of this crew that have prepared for years, months, weeks, days, and down to the hour, before the actor’s even begin to film! All the preparation, time, & commitment to make this come to life for you and I, the public, member or nonmember alike, for us to enjoy to increase our testimonies and commitment to the gospel & to ultimately bring all to our Savior Jesus Christ as I’m sure has been nothing short of a miracle, yet not impossible!! Thank you...seems like such a small token of my Gratitude.
I dont know why but I feel like I need to say this. Its okay to doubt. Its okay to have questions about the church. Its okay if your testimony is shaky AS LONG as you keep working on it. You dont have to be ashamed that you cant move mountains or that you arent visited by angels. Faith is a workin progress. It requires hard work, careful study, and a lot of patience. Alma even said"yea, even if you can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words."
God isnt expecting you to suddenly get up one morning and announce "The Book of Mormon is true!" All God is asking of us is just to keep working at it. It will take a while, it usually does, but we've just got to keep moving forward.
My testimony of the Book of Mormon continually grows. For me it's not just one experience but learning and experiencing through studying, applying what I learn and taking it one step at a time. Questions, doubts, concerns are completely normal and I'm grateful for The Book of Mormon and other resources to help us experience God's love, power and direction.
Thank you, I needed that! For me, some periods I doubt everything, not just church. However what I try to remember in those periods of my life, is the times where I felt the spirit so strong, that I could not deny the truth of the gospel! I know that these periods are normal but I needed those words from someone else. Thank you and may the Lord bless you and everyone reading this.😊
Having questions or having doubts are not the same thing at all. I have a lot of questions. I have no doubts. The Savior is not threatened by our questions so keep asking, keep trying and keep working à your understanding and testimony.. So will I. We’re never all the way finished.
I have no explanation for my emotional reaction to this video of the words of King Benjamin other than that the Spirit testifies of its truth just as He does of the reading of the original text. This brought an overflow of tears!

Yay! Cant wait for these episodes to go live. What a glorious gift is the Book of Mormon to all the world. King Benjamin, Ammon, Abinadi, Alma, Alma the Younger, etc. What great faith and courage these faithful disciples exercised in testifying of Christ in their day! Great examples to us all.
I am awed by the power and quality of these videos. I ask myself how many people might be affected by them. I believe this will be a way the Book of Mormon is taken to the whole world. This is what the world needs so badly at this point. What a great job you are doing!! Keep it up.
My heart leapt a little when I saw there was a new video. I thought I really knew The Book of Mormon, but the depictions have really brought it more to life than ever before. I remember so much more. What a blessing! The realistic portrayal of the setting, clothing, hairstyles, just offers a glimpse in history of what it felt like to experience these happenings. Thank you cast, crew, and prophets. Surely these are a voice from the dust speaking to us in our day. I look forward to the next set of videos as soon as they become available. I know they will be worth the wait!

Truly Another Testament of Jesus Christ.
For the first time when you see the word ANOTHER, you might think it is some other stuff quite different from what is known in the Bible.
But as you start reading the book of Mormon, you come to discover that the real principals in the Bible hailing from a common origin and closing in a quite different end!
I am so glad they are giving a lot of time to mosiah and alma which basically make up half of the book of mormon themselves. And after this season, the most miraculous story of all... Jesus visits the Nephites

The LDS are lucky to have the people and resources available to produce these. I am a reader of the Urantia Book and apart from a handful of songs and documentaries, there is very little Urantia Book based entertainment.

It's always good to hear from you, William. One thing that brightens my heart is to think of the generosity of members of the Church of Jesus Christ, whether more wealthy or less, and both the amazing organization and the wonderful financial management within the Church. For me, it's a testament to the Church truly being guided by God. And sure, there will be flaws in the video productions, but they will still be very useful in promoting faith and true values for many people.
I'm so excited for these new episodes! Everyone who has helped with the production of these Book of Mormon Videos are truly talented and are blessed of the Lord. Thank you for making these! I'm so so so excited to see these new ones! Alma the Younger is my favorite Book of Mormon character and i'm so excited how they are going to turn out!

. I have read the Book of Mormon 200 times since 1975 when I first took an institute class on it. But, these videos make the people come alive, they we’re real not just writings on a page. I am so grateful to the Prophet Joseph for translating it. It has changed my life for the better, I love it.

I feel strongly that this is an eternally significant project connected with the gathering of Israel and for the glory of God. It’s a glorious work and we are so grateful to all involved. From my view it seems that we are already using the videos well. As well as their inclusion in the Come Follow Me lessons we have some newly baptised members who can speak English but cannot read it. Neither are the scriptures translated into their native language as yet however they can understand ... and love ... the Book of Mormon, Bible and other scripture videos. The production qualities are excellent. I feel a little sad for those who feel compelled, for their own good reason, to hover over the ‘thumbs down button’ possibly without even viewing. You could be missing out on something inspired from our Father who only wants to bless us.

The videos rely make the book of Mormon come to life. Caution; if one has not read the book and the chapters depicted before watching the videos one does not fully understand the spirit impact of the message in the videos

Someone please tell me they are going to string all of the episodes together to make some sort of movie book of mormon timeline type thing. That would be AWESOME!
If this is season 3, where is Season 2?
Season 1 filming was 1 Nephi. Season 2 filming was 2 Nephi to Enos. Season 3 filming includes selections from Mosiah and Alma. Season 4 filming will focus on 3 Nephi. Etc. The term "season" has been connected primarily to when filming occurred, rather than when videos were released, which is admittedly a bit confusing.
All of the videos can be found in the Gospel library. Look under "videos" then Book of Mormon"

I can’t help but compare a production like this to a big box production with all its star producers, directors, animators, stage directors, etc... I can only imagine what these videos would look like with a big movie budget. It pains me to see the Book of Mormon not living its full potential because of its isolation to member cast members and producers. With such a complex story, it needs input from entire teams and collaborators rather than an exclusive group somewhere in Utah

Can the internet put to rest the disagreement my wife and I have: I'm positive that the actor who plays King Benjamin is the same actor who plays Joseph Smith in the movie--Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration. Would someone be kind enough to clarify this, either way. Thanks.

The guy who plays Alma the older is the same guy from kid history. Lehi is Jospeh Smith's father in the movie you referenced. He is also in the movie called, "The Testaments."

Unless the Holy Spirit is in a video it is just another representation of what is in the book.
Sets are nice, production crew are on it. My pining concern is always with two things only: the nuances of the acting, and the maturity of the cinematography. We are all attuned to outstanding performance and visual nuances that come from Hollywood. We can at least learn from that by duplicating it. These are two areas (nuanced acting & cinematography) that we can fix our sights on better. Our keystone holy book deserves it. We can do better. We see no special effects in the action - no slow motion, no visual creativity (think the Normandy landing scene in _Saving Private Ryan)._ In the acting, there are no pauses in dialogue that might lend poignancy or deeper feeling. You guys, I dearly want to rave, and it pains me that I can’t.
