- This week Norm and I are getting ready for the Northeast Classic with our new rifles, the FX Pantheras! Norm's is in 22, Keith's is a 25 cal. Awesome guys, that gun is amazing. I heard norm is using his Red Rider BB gun for the 100 Yard benchrest so you might need to practice twice as much.

Such an amazing airgun innit . I mean the flight time on that bullet is insane . If only there was a giveaway on this airgun cause I mean , who wouldn't want such a great airgun . I bet the Panthera is giving the Impact a run for its money .

Good evening! Just wanted to get your thoughts on this as a bench rest rig? This is my first FX rifle, and wanted something a little bit different for a bench rest gun. Went with the .25 in the 600mm. Also having the Superior pellet liner put in it. Hope I made a good choice!!

are both rifles 700 or 600, also where did you get that sitting bench rest with fx logo on it? I saw that in other videos and was like that looks nice and sturdy compared to other out there in the market.
They are both in the 700 mm. We got it from fx usa buddy. Its not on their website but you can order one through them

Good morning! As I keep working to set mine up for bench rest, I wanted to ask if you have tried the Saber Tactical butt pad on your Panthera? Not sure if it would fit, so I thought I would ask since you use one. I really like their bench rest monopod that fits on it. I like the idea of that vs a bag.

Hey keith. I have not tried the butt pad. i dont think it would fit. I dont shoot bench with the monopod. Shooting bag=No way for me !

@@68Whiskey I also have a strange scenario going on with my Valdada Crusader-2 scope I wanted to ask you about when I'm trying to mount it on my Panthera.
I have verified my quartz counter is level in both axis. When I set the scope base down on the counter, and then put the same Wheeler level on the elevation turret, the turret is level as well. I also shoot a laser level line on the wall and look through the scope and the vertical cross hair is bang on with the laser line.
So now i have the Panthera in a Tipton gun vise and leveled in both axis and then i attach the wheeler level to the barrel while referencing the smaller wheeler level on the scope rail. Everything is level at this point. Now here is where the baffling part is. I mount the rings in their location and make sure they are snug at this point. When I set the scope in the rings, I use the same wheeler level that I just had on the scope rail on the elevation turret to level the scope in the rings. Once the scope is level via the bubble level, I look through scope and the cross hair is canted!! The top of the verticle cross hair is at about the 350 degree mark if you were looking at it on a compass rose. Just have no clue what is going on with it.
I have to align the cross hair with my laser line I shot on the wall, but then the elevation turret is not level any more.
Any idea what I might be missing?

You can fill the airmarksman bottle to 300 bar, but the one that comes with is 250 bar
Amazing rifle, ,,, I'm guessing that case won't fit into a lot of vehicles. How long is that guncase?
The rifle is the same length as a standard rifle. If you can fit your hunting rifle in your vehicle, you can fit this one

It stands for precision rifle series buddy. Basically positional shooting at small targets.

Thinking of getting a Panthera. How do you like it ? Do they match all the hype ?
They really do. I wouldn’t suggest it for a squirrel hunting rifle per say but if you want it for competition or for a long range rifle i would highly recommend it.

Don't the water mess with zero I know if you shoot over water the damp air drags pellets down then when you shoot over land it shoots high don't you find that ?

The video is really interesting, thanks for that. But, when one of you (I mean all CZcamsrs) will take that rifle, put the FX radar, mount the Trigger Cam or Sideshot, and film everything from start to finish, and then show groups at 50, 100, 200, 300 yards.. . I've watched every "Panthera video" but no one has done it, so far. Besides, a lot of things don't add up (for me). For example, some say that with 40grainers at about 1,000 fps there can be up to 20 shots, others with 34 grains barely get 15, etc. etc. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Everybody tunes their rifles differently thats why there are different shot counts buddy. A start to finish video would be incredibly long and hard to make entertaining thats why we dont do it. We try to be candid about what we do, its not about transparency its about time.
@@68Whiskey I understand. But please let's make a video showing the speeds, number of shots and groups at different distances, from 50 do 300 yards. Something like that can be done in a couple of hours, recording and editing. I know because I do that kind of thing a bit too.I am a potential buyer, but all this seems somehow... Unclear.
We can tell you that with 40gr around 1,000fps, you’re going to be right around 12-14 shots depending on how well you have it tuned. No one is going to get 20 and we haven’t heard that said, though with a 300BAR bottle that could be true. Hope that helps

I placed my order for the 600mm. But do you guys think I’m loosing too much speed compare to the 700mm ?
My goal is to be able to shot a lighter slug like 21ish for having fun and shot count. And switch to the 34-40s for PRS.
not sure yet about the 600mm being able to send the heavy slugs at high speeds yet

Using fx adjustable rings
I have always loved shooting. Also, I've been lucky.. Clarks Custom Guns is about 10 miles from me. So I've had the luxury of having the availability of very accurate guns. That being said.. These accurate air guns are almost 3 times the cost of a custom rim fire or a center fire gun. What's up with that?? Still, I have 2 of them.. Ha. Can't help myself..

It is an amazing rifle but i dont think its going to replace the impact at the bench. Great for prs and dedicated long range.
