- Heading out with chemicals in the tank spraying at 9.4/US acre.
Spraying around 12mph currently and pulling pretty easy.
We hope this thing is going to work, otherwise it will be a massive fail! đ đ€·ââïž

I think this the first video of yours I saw. At that point I thought to myself, "This guy is crazy". Still watching and subscribed, 3+ years later, and I do watch every video.
It is really nice to see that people from North America enjoy some proper EU made products. Keep the videos going, good job!

spray pattern looks perfect. Nice, flat field to work in.
Almost too fine, might want a courser nozzle
Thanks for showing this Mike! Appreciate the effort you are putting into your videos!
Thanks good sir! đ
Great demo vidđthatâs one fast spraying rig, looks nice n stable at speed. Fill up looks simple unlike other sprayers.
Well, now I guess we ll see how it goes!
If you want to know how fast heâs going, look how fast you are going, I think youâre doing the same
Just started watching as well, pretty impressive. Actually at first I was going to compliment you on your drone handling, then realized you were driving ( also impressive). Anyway, great to see the different equipment rolling. Keep up the good work, and videos!
Thanks Mark!
Awesome channel, love the videos Mike. Sure miss the days of being back in Canada in farm country, stuck down here in south Texas now. Keep given 'er. cheers
Hi Fester Bestertester: Well Mike showed in an earlier video, it is very easy to cross the border from US to Can - SK; just walk over the border to the land of Mike. No walls whatsoever đđ.
Maybe you can ask to support him at his big and great Farm? Otherwise I will ask him if he need a hand. Like to drive this combination. Uhh; I mean would love it; to drive this puppy: Fendt & Amazooone! đâđ;
Won't bother about the Freaking metric, lolđ
That is Awesome Sprayer & Tractor. Glad to see more videos from you.
Thanks Chad! I appreciate that as always!
What a beast of a setup Mike looks real good thanks for the video.

Killer combo!
I have same problems in Europe with US equipmentđ
Gotta hate it when you go to undo a nut only to find it's in imperial, hah!
@@frankeinfishAgree!! Always a bloody imperial in stuff with metrics! ahah
That's a absolute beast of a sprayer. Drift and boom stability looked pretty good considering the forward speed.
Yeah, but we can't lift one side or the other.. The booms aren't designed that way.. Only all or nothing đ€Šââïž
Mike Mitchell did you order the field sprayer? Because the option, is usually optional. Same with the auto-shutdown feature. Either he doesn't have it, or it's off.
lol I love that you have a stuck-list đ€Ł

Just stumbled across your channel, a few great other channels out there I wonât mention names tho lol, but your channel is in a league on its own, the machinery and the size of planters and everything else is awesome, I reckon U could be great at making this better than whatâs around, u have the character, so whoâs up for Mike to do more videos? Mike I like that sprayer! Iâm seriously thinking about one for my farm. That would save me money on labor and time and time is money.
That's true... But don't make that decision yet đŹ because this sprayer has something it has to prove on our farm here first, atleast in my books

Hello Mike! Impressive and informative video - thanks! The tractor and sprayer are a high performance combination and productive at 12.5 mph with the big boom. Are you spraying burndown on there Mike?
Pre - preburn down đ.. A product that goes down prior to the burn down
I was just wondering what you were spraying the field for? As it doesn't appear to have a crop growing in it yet.
Itâs a âburn offâ pass before seeding. Roundup spray for small weeds just starting to come up.
Nice video
Great to see the whole unit in action, the lack of guidance given the pandemic must be terribly irritating. On a side note I found it rather amusing that your trucks mirror is held on with duct tape while chasing what must be a half million dollars worth of iron through the field, the visual irony is priceless:) As always an excellent video, can't wait to see more stuff and I will prob my break my patron cherry with your channel soon

Hi Mike! Cool Video! We also run an amazone sprayer at our farm in Germany.
Where is your farm located?
Will you do a video where you show the farm and all your machines?
Best regards form Germany :)
Hey there good sir! đ That's awesome, i may have questions for you! What type you run?
c000000RN Mikeâs family farm is south of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. They farm approx 40,000 acres.
These machines are some of the biggest and most expensive in the farming industry. My question is what is your annual budget for all these things are they bought or leased or do the big companies give them for free for real condition testing?
Nice european machinery đđŒ
Haha! Thanks good sir
Very interesting. Great looking spray pattern.
In Algeria, we spray the axial in which we put fertilizers and pesticides
What length are the booms? It's a nice looking sprayer
Thanks good sir, 40m or 131ft or something
Hey Mike I watched your last video it was great đ... are you keeping the case sprayers aswell? I hope you like the Amazone! Here in Ontario we are just starting tillage on our farm and hope to start planting corn tomorrow all the best I hope u have a great spring
Hey we kept the Case too! I hope so too, but they aren't getting off the best start đŹ
@@mikemitchell2554 if you replace them, take a look at Agrifac they are fast as fuck in the field
@@lanteg4316
They're not getting a good name in west Aus
Very big and heavy
They don't float like a tug along
Lots of electrical issues and zero manufacturer support
A few getting around but they're trying to off load them
Gold acres John deer and Miller are the most common here for self propelled
Sonic and hydraboom are the most common tug along
Mafe locally
160ft booms
What made you go pull type instead of getting more self propelled?
2 for 1 in price and more productive ok paper.. But, we ll see!
Mike Mitchell thank you for the answer. I think you made the smart choice đ
thats a big sprayer
Are duals necessary?? Coz for spraying when crops are outta the ground that a wide footprint
For burn off yes.. Other than that no
Have you seen their Video Ehen they put a beer Glas in the outer boom too demonstrate the stability
I did! I saw that..
How wide is the boom on that
131 or something it's 40m (metrc) đ€Šââïž haha
It would be easier with just a lever for the boom.
Mike what is the advantage of this type of sprayer offer the self propelled that you run
2 for 1 price, utilize the tractors during spraying season, and just the massive capacity and being able to cover around 960ac per tank on burn off..
I was gonna ask the same/similar questions. SO thanks for asking Dallas! And thanks Mike for answering!
Did u get rid of the 4440
Great job!!! What are you spraying on there mike?
It's a Valtera, a pre emergent for lentils
Thanks!
That hitch your talking about comes from power pin in Fort quappel Saskatchewan
đ€ Intresting!
Looks like a STORZ fitting. I know you can get them by IP thread. I believe I saw them at Pollard water. $$$$$$$ Not cheap
You are correct.
You should put a central tire inflation system on the Amazon. Alot of weight with a 3600 gal tank.
đ€ I don't think that's an option
Of course itâs an option you can hook up a compressor to a wheelbarrow tire if you wanted to.
11:30 it would be just my luck I would get stuck and he come up behind and wipe the boom out on the back of the pickup.
Ha! I didn't even think of that! But that would be my luck! đ đ€·ââïž
What an awesome monster!
Just wonder why you have fence lines in the middle of a prairie?
Oh there's lots of fence lines, we still have some amd neighbors who have cows have some.
@@mikemitchell2554 so the 930 pulls it ok?

Metric Master Race
I hate metric! đ đ€Šââïž
@@mikemitchell2554 :D i was two times near Edmonton on a Farm for Farmwork, and it was completely confused to have the yield in Bushel per Acre... in Germany we have Tones per Hektar. 1 Ton is 1000kg and 1 Hektar is 10000 mÂČ :D

Crazy Amazon didn't send tech support for your first use/load of their equipment, doesn't bode well for future support in my opinion. Have they cashed your cheque yet, if not maybe time to put it on hold until you get some customer service?
Good video mike, thanks for taking the time. What are you spraying here? Will you guys drill straight into that or run some kind of cultivator over it first? The stuck list thing is a great idea btw!
Once it's sprayed, we drill right into it.. We practice "No Till" up here
How wide is that sprayer
Why do you not use the 720? We in Germany run with our jd 6830 a 18500 Liter slury tanker easy at 8 mph.
We were using the 720 on the 82ft roller but it is giving troubles.. The 720 - at least ours, has more power than cooling.. đŹ
@@mikemitchell2554 I now that problem, a friend of me has a tuned 718 fendt with 220 HP. He installed a clean fix cooler, that bring the engine temperature 6°C cooler. But I think your problem is you has very long fields with les turning time and les time too cool down, in ower space a fiel ends max. at 600m am than its a big fieldđ. My tip search on the back op market, the 722 has in my infomercials a bigger cooler, probably you can upgrade it.

Hei , i m from europe , what do you spray there , i can t figure it out...
I.S. Theyâre spraying any weeds prior to spring seeding. We use the âNo-tillâ system of seeding/planting, so We donât plough, cultivate or dress our fields over here except for using the odd Protill (honestly the greatest thing since sliced bread) which is a high speed low impact disc we use mostly for smoothing our sprayer ruts, or in the event of a really bad hail year to knock over any standing crop. Hahaha. So without doing field work we use what we call pre-burn or pre-burndown which gives us a good start to the crop year for weed/pest/fungal management, but mostly weeds in my part of #Ridernation! Keep up the awesome videos Mike!
@@Saskatchewan_IH_Farmer great , here in europe we strugle with a hars drought , on 15 liters of rain on squere meter since december ...

Gosh!! đ€Šââïžđ€·ââïžđ
what are you spraying?herbicide?
Yes.. Pre emergent for lentils
why dont you use the suction on the compute (you will need to use the suction hose), then it will automaticly stop the suction when you have the amount of water you set it to.
That's 4in..and I don't have that, also I can push it on faster
You cant raise the tips individual either?? We run a ux4200 and ux5200. But on both you can raise them individual.
Thereâs no amazone guy here sooo.... I donât know! Lol! Wouldnât it be impressive if they had that fitting all ready for you to go! Hey we know he needs a banjo cam lock, letâs get it right for him! 20 inch nozzle spacing? Thatâs strange the wings donât have much travel. Think their self propelled is the same? I donât know how you stay so calm with so much work going on. Iâd have a stroke. Funny how the European sprayers never have stainless tanks.
Right?! How was this an oversight? Also, the Software from Metric to US doesn't match up, Amazone said they did the calculations wrong and it may be another year before they get to right!! đłđ€Šââïž
Yes 20in I believe.. You also can't lift one boom at a time đ€Šââïž
Hey Mike, isn' t iT a problem that european stuff in Canada ( and North america) ? All of iT is Metric, and in europe there are other standards for equipement. And then I forget when you' ve got breakdowns, pieces?? Are they in stock at Your dealer?
What' on the sprayer? Roundup?
Valtera.. It's a pre -emergent in front of lentils.. But, yes, we ll be back with roundup and other Chemicals later
uh what are you spraying that you're not worried about getting sprayed on?
How much do yâall farm?
Around 40k
Just found your channel had me laughing the way you were talking and then i was like I bet this farms in Sask:P To funny Where in Sask are you guys farming?
Most of it is in the SW, south of Swift Current a 100miles
This is like welker farms the other side of the border
I have heard of them yes, I hear they like big buds đ
Except Welkers are like half the size of the average Saskatchewan farm. But I do like there taste in equipment. Big Buds and Case IH. The only thing theyâre missing is a green (or black) Fendt. In my opinion the ONLY green tractor worth owning. Hahah.
Mike Mitchell Maybe âLeg Armsâ can build you a âBowling Ball Cannonâ & the two farms can fire âShots Back & Forth Across The Borderâ. On one of their videos the joke was that if they fired a bowling ball into Canada it would probably be returned with âHockey Pucksâ Attached đ€Łđđłđłđđ
European tractor European sprayer , seems like there should be a European amongst you Canadians to help sort out some of the bugs !!?? Hahaha Looks like a hell of a set up ,but when the simplest cam lock to fill the sprayer is is a problem seems you should get some assistance !! Does every acre get multiple trips ? The stuck club sounds interesting keep just informed !!!Haha
I agree Lee! I am alittle worried about how theses 2 Amazones are going to perform.. Especially when Amazone said when you convert it over to US from Metric that they didn't do their conversion right, so it might not be accurate đłđ€Šââïž
