I'm from a small town in Ohio, grew up in 60's and 70's. The amount of drugs and pedophilia did not make sense for the size of the towns. I think Ohio has a lot of hiding places for major rings, and Columbus seems to be an epicenter for the richest.

you know what's funny is Ohio does actually kinda have a human trafficking problem. I live in Canton and pretty much from Akron all the way up north to Cleveland, lots of human trafficking reports, just look up the crime map. So maybe not specifically, but it definitely happens, I assume it's probably just any major city has that kind of problem.
I'm from Cleveland and I've heard ohio has the HIGHEST human trafficking rates, because this is 1 of or only state where numerous interstate highways connect together at single point. Easy to distribute everywhere

Columbus has a massive human trafficking problem. It ranks as one of the worst cities for trafficking in the US. Columbus is a hot spot due its ease of access to major highways and proximity to other major cities.
I find it hard to believe Sam didnt know this. If he did, it’s a shame he wouldn’t speak to it and get more eyes on it. This was the perfect opportunity.

You have to remember. Most of these shows have a narrow spectrum audience, they just aren't up for that kind of off the cuff banter. Especially a city like Columbus.
I remember when Stern's crew would call and pretend they had a real question to ask on live TV and half way through the sentence would blurt out "BA BABOOEY!!!" Hahaha!
Ohio has a major human trafficking problem because of the 75 pipeline feeds the entire East Coast and Route 6 goes so far west it is silly. These lines also move drugs and other illegal stuff.
