Saw the title and immediately said "NOPE". I grew up in the second most northernly community in Canada. Having 24 hour darkness during winter and having 24 hour brightness in summer. I can tell you the flat earth logic doesn't f*cken work.
that means you haven't properly researched. longer periods of darkness in the winter is because the sun is circling too far away from the center (north pole). then in summer the circles are narrower, making it farther from the south pole/wall.

@@lucasallakariallak8244 i was skeptical for a long time too. i also thought viruses were a real thing. once you see the evidence though, it's a point of no return. now the responsibility falls on them to prove their claims. so far they failed to detect motion of the earth, and to isolate any virus. it's true, i know it sounds unbelieveable, but the info is there if you look. they aren't going to put that in schoolbooks though.
But that could still work on a flat planet with a more localised sun. A flash light pointed on a table doesn't light the whole thing up at once if it is close to it.

By asserting a circling sun you then have the problem that this sun must be getting bigger and smaller as it gets closer and father away as it circles above the observer as perspective dictates. It doesn’t.
Your claim also necessitates that in the southern hemisphere south of the Tropic of Capricorn the sun must by definition always be north of your position. The sun rises and sets south of your position in the southern hemispheres summer.
Your claim requires the Antarctic summer have nighttime. It doesn’t. There is a 24 hour daylight in Antarctica despite the fact that other locations, eg south tip of South America, have both day and night

Why is it moronic? Maybe believing that earth spins at 1,000 mph yet the stars are as clear as day, no blur and in exactly the same place every night is moronic? There are of course other opinions like the world is spherical but it’s much bigger due to the rate of curve (if there is one).

We know they're true because they consistently give answers that correlate with the reality we see around us. Denying that just in the interest of being open minded would not make sense. You don't have to be open to every opinion.

if the compass points "north" (the center of the map) then as you go west continuously, you would be turning slightly to the right, as you go "around" the whole earth and come back to where you started, you would be making a circle centered around the pole. consider the fact that no one has EVER circumvigated the planet by going all the way north, over the north pole, then back south over the other pole. look it up, no one has done this, and it's because there's no such thing. onec you get to the "south" you are on the outer edge, and you don't immediately pop back out on the other side...

Hypothetically, how could you fall off the edge? There would still be gravity and you would end up at the underside. Or do they think gravity as we know it is wrong and the Earth sits on a giant space table? Also....how do the magnetic fields work on a disk? Make it make sense because a flat earth would mean rewriting most major math theories.

U know. I thought this was just retarded to even consider in my youth, but as i got older & experiments kept comin up proving me wrong. I started to think to myself "there has to be more to this thing then meets the eye or at least more then we're being lead on." Why is it that no1 wants to even consider that this might have some weight behind it? Why r All the ancients that seemed to be more advanced then we r told to believe know So much in their time? That horizon doesnt seem to ever disappear or fall below eye level. Why is this? They all believe ridiculous different versions because their cognitive dissonance makes them change one ad hoc explanation for some phenomena for another on the fly as their ridiculous assertions get destroyed. There is no model, no theory and certainly no science that flat earthers can point to as a unified model. For this reason, you have a wide range of wacky different ad-hoc explanations for singular things we witness - All of which, mind you are already completely settled science with complete working models that predict, prove and show how our universe functions.

Genuine question - if the earth is flat, why does it look curved when you’re flying on a plane? To me the curvature of the planet has always been obvious, but I frankly don’t know nearly enough about this theory, so I’m curious.
it doesn't look curved. the videos you see are fisheye lens. there are lots of videos without it that look flat.

When a scientist thinks something is “factual” there will usually be a good deal of empirical evidence. Usually it’s given the term “scientific theory” meaning there’s overwhelming evidence supporting it. The “theory of gravity” for example.

he's also not at all representing the idea properly. as soon as i heard him say "the ice wall meant to keep people from falling off the edge" i knew this was nonsense... no one thinks that. most people would agree that we have no idea what's beyond the wall. it could be impenetrable, or it could be "space" or it could be an endless plane with more lands beyond... no one thinks you would just "fall off".

The problem is that you can’t accurately represent flat earth. There are multiple versions with multiple explanations for phenomena we observe, most of which contradict each other and almost always contradict a different part of the flat earth model.
Don’t blame normal people for misunderstanding the flat earth “model” when flat earthers can’t decide on what the model is.

Its incredible how rude, condescending, and downright vile a lot of these comments are. Although I cannot fault you, as I was once the same. Most "flat earthers" at least the group i got involved with openlu acknowledge that we do not know what earth is exactly, but that it IS an enclosed system created by God. I mention God in this case as the supreme creator of everything. I am not speaking of God through a religious context. I am simply referencing the creator. To make a long ztory short, space is a newfound phenomenal psyop, specifically put out there to erode the belief in God amongst the masses. The reasons for this, I am unsure of truthfully. Notice how i never referenced religion. Essentially, these "space" groups have turned science into a religion itself, rather than a process to achiecing understanding of the natural world, as it was always intended. Just beacause you WANT there to be space and alien civilizations, doesn't mean they exist. The premise behind creating space as an idea was essentially used to cheapen our owns perceptions of the intentionality of existence. The reality is, we all exist, by intent, due to the creator, for reasons of which are his and not ours. The truth is, if you do, "just think about it", the government has no issues lying to us. They lied about the moon, they lie about history, they lie about weapons, they lie about everything. Thats why when these intelligence officials stated, theres an element of this thats interdimensional. As above so below. All of the dimensions are right here on earth in plain site. Imagine eart like a radio, we are tuned into one channel. That does not mean other channels do not exist, but rather they do not exist to our perception. When considering the order and structure of the world we live in, the idea of space alone is extremely silly. But alas, obviously humans know more than God. Humans are obviously the masters of this domain, thats why we keep trying to make uo new ways to explain how the F we all got here. Want the simple but hard to accept answer? This isn't your reality, space is not real, and existence is right in front of you. You have been granted existence. Be grateful and stop trying to explain something you have nothing to do with. Try and live your life, it has nothing to do with aliens, or outer space. My statement doesn't discount the fact that there are vast creatures of all sorts of demeanors that have been created. Anyone ever look at the ocean from the shore? Or clips from those who cliff dive or sky dive? Have you ever looked at photos from way up and looked at the ground? This is hilariously dumb. I've been on airplanes several times and the curvature of the earth is absolutely noticeable at 30,000 feet. Heck, even a radio antenna maintenance crew will notice it. You can watch videos of antenna crews in Canada working on 1,800 ft tall towers and the lens has NOT been swapped out on their webcams. When they got to the top, the curvature of the earth was noticeable!
PS: another maintenance worker did an "ask me anything" session online and someone asked what he likes the most about the job. He said he likes seeing the curvature of the earth when he gets to the top of the antenna tower. It makes the long climb to the top worth it.

Flat earth can’t come up with a consistent, or coherent, model of the flat earth. There are multiple explanations for even the simplest phenomena many of which contradict other explanations for the same thing and certainly contradict another phenomenon that has multiple explanations.

Just take time lapsed photos of the north star and try to make reason of it. Or rather how all the stars move around it. FYI. The world is not just flat. It has 4 corners. Bible says so.
Now do the same in the southern hemisphere looking in the direction of sigma octantis and explain why they appear to rotate in opposite directions if the earth is flat.

As it happens, yes I’ve lived in Townsville Australia. I’ve also sailed extensively south of the equator and taken Timelapse photos on a film camera.
So, yes. I’ve seen this personally.
