- I hope you enjoyed my little film made entirely in Blender (comped and edited in After Effects and Da vinci Resolve). Making it was a fun experience and I learnt a lot. I can't wait to make the next, and maybe, just maybe, continue this story.

Just to expand. Love the hand throwing something out the window and the window winding up again. Love how the car pulls up. The way the weight of the car shifts as it comes to a stop is very realistic.

Im thinking if i should try this cuz i think it would be fun. How long did this take to make
It took 6 weeks but that’s cause I had no idea what to do at first 😂. If you were organised and focused you could probably make this in 2-3 weeks

How did you add the film grain
Just using After Effects man, the grain there looks so nice 👌🏻

Honestly William Landgren’s Patreon was a huge help as well as some of Ian Hubert’s stuff. Those guys are both absolute legends.

That's the point
Making a car driving a straight road with absolut minimal dynamic animation, absolute no story, absolut Minimum effort, calling it a blender short film. I would call it a ,,i‘ve just learned blender after 2 tutorials, rendering shit with cycles and uploading it as a short film“. Thats todays viewgrab society today.

Then make it yourslef, all the tiny details, car moving, lighting, physics, and that shit, it is hard, go on, do it

@@gy3940 Hey, just wanted to say, you are right! I did think about this comment and it is just valid criticism, not to feel like he is nothing but to know where he can t better, i was in a bad mood while writing that comment earlier.
