The technology of the calf kitchen and milk cart is awesome. With so many calves, efficiency is highly important. Thank you so much for your informational posts. May God bless you and your family.
Great video. You and your sister get along so well together makes watching a pure joy. This might be my favorite video in the past year. Thats how much I liked todays video.
I think this my favorite episode, love how you guys get on with each other. Your facility is just amazing, we grew up with just feeding calves out of plastic buckets that usually ended being my job to clean. Your calves look really healthy, just need some sunshine 🌞.
That was another nice one Jan and Neline.👌👍 Nice to see how systematic and thorough you work with preparation and feeding the calfs! All looks healthy and so clean, credits to you all. Excellent job👌
I'm amazed with all the equipment. Looks expensive, and well cared for. My dad grew up on a dairy farm (1930's-49's). When he was older he took care of the birthing & calves. He started washing and keeping things clean. Just doing that he lost the fewest calves. No surprise he became a science teacher. I Enjoy the cows. Thank you 😊
Beautiful operation. Nice to see sister and brother working side by side and having fun doing it. That’s the way it should be. You guys do a fantastic job and you know stuff. It’s easy to see you like what your doing. Great video. Thank you.
I grew up on a small dairy farm in Ontario. Back in the 70's we never pasteurized the milk we gave to the calves... straight from the tank. This is all new to me! keep up the good work. Have been enjoying your channel.
It’s really nice to see family together that’s what family farms are really what it’s about I enjoy watching you guys working together your parents must be proud someday you should introduce your mom and dad family farming at it’s best ever it’s what we are all about keep it up
Very interesting episode and I've watched most of them. Your operation is so efficient, well pretty much. Nice that you included your sister. She seems nice as well
Well I've watched this video for the 22nd time today with my granddaughters. They love watching this video. Everytime they see your sister they started saying "Hi Sister".. Thanks to the both of you cause my 2 youngest granddaughters love this video...
Niline great job thanks for taking us along on your chores for the morning I know ya probably laughed when your brother said this calf is broken dang priceless
I will tell you your sister is a very intelligent person how she takes care of those animals and the way she does it she may not do the work outside that you do but everything she does inside helps you in the future to keep you working God bless you and your family and keep up the great work that you’re doing I’m just saying hi from PA USA God bless y’all
Hi. I'm the 5,689th viewer today!!! No one has said that ever yet. I love the family dynamic. Neline explains her work very precisely too. Isn't there another sister working with you there? I love this channel. Keep them coming and thanks for your time and talent in doing all this. Thanks to Neline too.
Neline is simply BEAUTIFUL!!! By the way, when that little gal carries those two pails, she's carrying 83 lbs. She's TOUGH!!! Tell her she has a huge fan in the U.S. Love your videos, keep up the good work!!
Really enjoyed this video. Are used to live on a dairy farm with my parents and it was so different back then and then when the operation you guys have but I’m sure you’ve been told that 1 million times. Very very impressive outfit❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Feeding calves sure has changed in 55 years. It’s more complicated and yet easier in many ways. I enjoyed the tutorial on calf feeding of the different ages.
You guys are too much fun to watch but you still work as a well oiled machine! Thanks for taking us along to feed baby calves. If you celebrate...have a wonderful Thanksgiving! God Bless! ❤️
Wow that is something to be proud of, what a beautiful environment you have for your calves. I really like the wash pits at the entrance of different rooms, that is something I strongly believe in even on our cow/calf beef operation. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 10 Stars accommodations!
Actually, it's funny that you mention volunteering because when my youngest was in 3rd grade I was working at the University Dairy Farm. I brought her to work as much as reasonable. She loved "helping"!!! hahaha
Thanks Neline. I really am impressed with all the thought and planning that goes into managing a large calf operation like yours. Calf feeding, movement, contamination, etc. is all well organized. Also, you need to give Neline a raise. She deserves it for putting up with you. FYI - regarding the calf that couldn't stay on the bottle and nipple, hove you thought about calf mental disabilities? Just like in humans, there may be a small proportion of calves that have mental or neural defects. They wouldn't be able to focus or manage muscle coordination like a normal calf. Do you have many of those that you can identify?
Very nice. I enjoyed that tour. Who doesn't enjoy babies of most any species?!! And it was interesting to watch the interaction between you and Neline. For one thing, your grammar became less formal. Her presence seemed to relax you, and bring out some sibling playfulness. It was a fresh touch to this video. Thanks much!
Sissy. Thank You for the walk along video of caif feeding as it has quit a lot of special steps to go through. Sissy it look's like you are right on track with caif feeding you make it look smooth. Please Take Care of your self Plus Be Very Care Full around all Farm Equipment
What an interesting video I was thinking the ear tags looked huge on the calves before you talked about them Your sister did a super amazing job. Love those littlest calves so sweet looking
Dairy farming in Canada I'm from Indiana in the USA I think you folks has been celebrated Thanksgiving I hope you all had a great one we're celebrating today Thursday November 26th I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you sharing your life with this you all take care and God bless you
It seems weirdly quiet in your barns. The cows must be less stressed out as well as the care givers. I'm impressed with the whole set up. Very educational.
Kid Dutch smashing CZcams 💪 you guys have some really nice equipment 👍 nice to see you have your sis on💁🏻♀️ that was funny the little calf hey I’m not thirsty now leave me alone
That was a grate video thank you. I loved working with the young stock. I really like your set up so much room. I really do like the milk cart that makes the job so much easier for you. I used to have to carry the milk in the big buckets back and forth back and forth. Thank you for sharing the way you feed your calves. Dose Neline and your Mum do the calfs all the time or do you share the feeding out? I would love to have a hands on look at your set up. Looking forward to seeing the next instalment. Regards Richard.
Looking at the comments calfs (or baby cows for city folks LOL) seem to have a soft spot with a lot of people. Neline is doing a great job, your family has such a wonderful farm. I'm quite jealous / ik ben erg jaloers!
A farmer's walk is that a play on two hands full of milk. This is what I miss about working at a Darry feeding the caves could do that for the rest of my life thanks for the video.🌄🌄🌄
Outside provides more ventilation. Unless the weather is so cold it will freeze the ears straight off the calf like it will where they are it's better for them to be outside in the open air.
Love the slinging of banter. Goede rondleiding en uitleg van de kalvervoerstappen. Neline kent haar dingen ... niet zomaar een mooi boerenmeisje. Bedankt voor de video Jan. Did not see you Jan carry those milk buckets. 👍🍁😎
Excellent sibling banter.
lol .. how many calfs you are feeding ?? With three bottles in box🤦🏼♂️🤣
Good job brother
Neline is so awesome, I love it when your workin w/ her.
Your sister is so cute 🥰
Neline did a nice job with explanations.
We need to see a lot more of your sister... she's great! Thanks for the education.

You're a good sport Neline ! Thanks for the tour !
One of the best Dairy Operations I've seen!
You should show this calf feeding more often. So cool!!!
This calf’s broken! Lol best line in the video.

@@CurrentChoices Jan kept referring to "him". Though I wondered too.
I seriously wondered if that calf had some level of mental deficiency?? Does that happen?!

Love when we get to see your sister. So smart, hardworking, and beautiful.
Great video. You and your sister get along so well together makes watching a pure joy. This might be my favorite video in the past year. Thats how much I liked todays video.

I think this my favorite episode, love how you guys get on with each other.

Hi

Nice to see how systematic and thorough you work with preparation and feeding the calfs! All looks healthy and so clean, credits to you all. Excellent job👌
Very good video, informative and at times humerous, Neline carried those 2 5 gallon buckets of milk with complete ease, good job guys
I know. A full 5 gallon bucket is heavy.
Absolutely love watching your channel. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving for Canadians was Oct 12th. Enjoy yours though.
What a beautiful calf barn, very clean and well kept!!
Your sister has the cutest smile and laugh. It's great watching you guys do what you do everyday.

Very impressed with this farm. Very clean and modern
More Neline, enjoyed.
You two are a joy to watch. Thanks for the tour.
Your other videos with Neline are rather brief. She is quite wonderful in her explanations.
She could very easily have her own successful channel !
Or just take a camera and put it in these vids, would be fun to see!
And she's cute!
@@Bird22
REALLY CUTE !!
She has her own channel now. Search: 'A Dairy on the Prairie'.
