Johnny Young wrote "I Thank You" for Lionel to sing. Gus, you are correct...Harlan Howard wrote this song & it was a hit for Charlie Walker in 1958. Believe it or not, Harlan apparently wrote this in a couple of minutes!! Harlan was such an incredible song writer.
He is my uncle I never met him but my trauma therapist told me as well as I only discovered this 2 days ago so I’m quite shocked I have no evidence but I know he is my uncle

My dad was boxing 🥊 in troupe all those years ago when he lost his ability to function he said please remember me Lionel rose sums it 👍
