The cinematography is by Santhosh Sivan..the best in Asia. India's first 3D film was in Malayalam..in 1984. It's a must watch fantasy. Directed by Jijo Ponnuuse

Jijo punnoose is the director of Indias first 3d movie My Dear Kuttichathan released 40 yrs ago and Barroz was based off his Novel but Left the project due to creative differences with Mohanlal as he reworked the script to give his character more importance and hence Jijo left the project and thus no screeplay credits given .

@@D54pod All this Drama happened because of Covid only , Even Prithviraj was in the movie in a major role , During the covid lock down period the girl who was the main Character grew older than the characters age and hence they had to scrap the entire 1st schedule and eventually decided to shelve the project , but in Nov 2021 they decided to revive the project but had to change the entire cast because of covid and schedule issues, So Mohanlal asked Jijo to rewrite the script in a way which it can be shot mostly in Indoor sets, Jijo reworked on script many times and finally left the project as it was too different from the original Screenplay, Finally Mohanlal and another director finish the Screenplay and they finish shooting in mid 2022 and was suppose to release in early 2023 but the initial vfx output was not good so they are redoing it from from scratch and Movie is expected to release this year August.
if u wanna explore the real treasure hunt fantacy adventure movie of mohanlal, just watch 1988 malayalam movie "Orkkappurathu". The only movie mohanlal acted as an anglo indian. such a fun and feel good movie it is. the only movie of mohanlal in his most ever stylish look.
Gives a English movie vibe. many reactors misses such gems in malayalam movie.
Oh wow, man I'll take a look and see if I can find a version with English subtitles. Sounds fantastic.
