To add onto that I experienced psychosis after having my cat for many years. She went from 2 cats the 10 then 10 to 20 in the matter of 3 months, she has to enjoy living in it because any other human in their right mind would have at least cleaned up the shit.
TNR should advance to TNC (Trap Neuter & Contain). Meaning that feral and other outdoor cats should be sheltered and removed from the outdoors in private catios and community catios for better management for the benefit of the cats, the native wildlife, the ecosystem, and people that don't appreciate cats odorizing their homes and other possessions.
