Hey Tuk Tuk Foodie!! This is so cool to see... watching the Hawker putting all the things together. It always looks so random, but the result always look beautiful! They do NOT skimp on portion sizes there at all. The lady at Zion road was cute. Question... we see women at the front counters quite often taking the orders and stuff, is it typically men who cook at these Hawker shops?? There are so many layers to preparing this dish. It's so easy to just get lost in the sounds, and actions and just zone out and enjoy the food prep!! Fabulous video and as always we fully enjoy your videos and love seeing where you're eating! Love you to the moon and have a great day! 💖🥰😊😘💖🌛

Hey y’all! this is one dish that many would die to have (popular in Singapore and Malaysia) though there are a few renditions. And you’re right, they do not skimp on the portions and these only costs between 2-4USD. Great observation too! many of these stalls or what is known as Hawkers (aka Street Food) are predominantly fronted by men. But there are also a fair share of women who run the show by themselves depending on the type of food. The Zion lady though is a pillar of support for her partner who works the Wok and she is a wonderwoman who memorizes each order without writing them down. Tons of love to y’all!
