I recently got back into reading at the start of this year and have been reading one to two books a month. I would love to be able to read books more on the go, I donât have much space in my apartment since I share a room with my sister so Iâm limited to shelf space. Iâve tried reading ebooks on my phone but Iâve only been able to get through 3. Just like you said itâs hard since you get notifications form everything else and get distracted. đđ«¶đ»

Iâve been wanting a kindle forever. My daughter had cancer and lots of medical issues. I would definitely love one to be able to read while at appointments and so she canât rip my physical books anymore! đ
I love having a Kindle Paperwhite especially because of it being easy on my eyes and can read it even outside without a glare. The only downside for me has been the power button being on the bottom so I've had to remind myself of the location. I still love having physical books but also, it's so nice to carry around lots of books digitally and not having to worry about the weight. My pros certainly outweigh the cons I have for it.
i would LOVE the kindle!!! i have recently been getting back into reading A TON of books and as you know they can get pretty expensive. iâm a college student so having the ability to have so many books at my fingertips would be the best. also a kindle was actually the first device i ever received when i was about 10 years old (so over 10 years ago) and loved the heck out of it until it broke so getting the kindle would be so nostalgic for me! đȘŽđȘŽ
Omg yesss, Iâve been wanting a kindle for so long but I havenât been able to afford it, physical books are good, but I have wrist problems and itâs sooo uncomfortable to read them, plus I do have kindle unlimited ! I read on my phone but it really hurts my eyes after a while and gives me migraines, so I think the kindle would be so amazing! And physical books are so pricey! Also I think my favorite emoji is đ, just because I use it so consistently haha.

I believe there are ways to share your ebooks that were purchased through Amazon, just have to set up who has access to your library.

Reading was my only vice as a kid. outcast nerdy girl w addict parents. Just had a kid and I can barely manage to read one or two a year. Iâd love to have a kindle to be able to read while Iâm on the go, and in between work phone calls. Iâm constantly talking on the phone for my business, usually spending tons of time on hold, and having a kindle would help fill that down time. I had a kindle fire waaaaay back in the day and I loved it. You absolutely can share books. All you need is a laptop or PC. Plug the kindle with the book(s) you wanna share into the computer, go into the kindle's files on the computer. Copy the book(s) to the desktop then unplug that kindle and plug in the kindle you're sharing the book(s) with in and drag the book(s) from the desktop to the Kindle. Done! Best thing is that you only copied the file and can still read the book yourself if you haven't finished it.
It's quite annoying when people say they can't share books on ereaders, I've done it sooo many times!
Perhaps it doesn't work on books you pay for? But I think it does.
Taking public transportation as my way around town, this would definitely come in handy for my daily commutes!
Honestly Iâve been debating getting one, Iâm always reading ebooks on my phone and the notifications are a HUGE pain like you said. So that be awesome not to have to deal with that anymore.

i would love a kindle because reading is my absolutely favorite and only past time. I work over 40+ hours a week as a teacher and reading is my way to relax after a long day at work. I do love physical books but a kindle would be very convenient for reading on the go so I donât destroy my precious books while on the go. I also am trying to accomplish my reading going for the year which is to read 15 books this year. That may not be a lot for some but I have to realistic with my schedule about how much I am able to accomplish. Being able to buy a kindle has been a goal of mine so I would be incredibly grateful to win this giveaway.

Iâve never had a kindle before and have recently managed to incorporate my reignited love for reading into my busy college schedule. I would absolutely love your kindle not only because I love your all your channels but also because my boyfriend and I just invested in a van to roadtrip and do vanlife down in California to pursue our entertainment industry dreams. I can't keep buying physical books right now as we're very limited in space. Though I can't give up my love for reading and writing. It would be such a blessing to have one. To continue to read and have all my favorite books in my hands at once. I'm going to miss my bookshelf and all my books but there's things like kindles to help through sacrifices and adjustments. I use to have an Amazon Fire for school. Sadly, I sold it after I got out of high school and instantly regretted it. I miss the convince of having thousands of books in your hands because Iâm such a mood reader. I would love to have a Kindle again. Love your channels and have a nice day! đ
Iâd like to have a kindle for the convenience mostly. It would be much easier to take with me when Iâm out and about. Also, I like to read in bed a lot so I feel like the kindle would be much easier to hold while laying down, and it would be nice to not have to deal with a reading light on top of that. I too like to read laying on my side, but with a physical book itâs just uncomfortable most of the time, like you said.

Iâve been getting more and more into reading and getting through my long list of books to read. So having a Kindle would certainly help in this process. Especially since lately I am having to wait on waitlists for physical copies of books. So being able to get it electronically/digitally would help so much!!

As someone with dyslexia I really struggle reading, and reading on my phone makes it much easier as I can change the font/background colour, however, my eyes can get tired from the light, therefore a kindle would be perfect to be able to change the fonts/colours without having that tired eye feel đ

I love reading & kindles are a great alternative for physicals books because theyâre more convenient for on the go reading which is great. I love having physical items, but sometimes hauling them around is just an inconvenience especially when traveling. I like reading in the car or when I get really anxious because it helps to ease my mind. I totally agree with you on reading in bed, laying on your side makes it hard to read a physical book but with the kindle it makes it easier which would be perfect for me since I like reading late at night in bed, not only the position but when my boyfriend is sleeping I canât have the light on or anything so itâs significantly harder!

I am a hugeeeee E reader compared to physical books. Sometimes I find my wrists get tired and lazy when holding physical books. E reading also makes it easier on the go for traveling etc. I would love to win to have an upgraded version of a kindle for when I travel! I think mine is from like 2013 LOL

I much prefer my Kindle to a physical book, especially my 2021 kindle. I like being able to make the font bigger and how its lightweight and waterproof.

honestly i've been waiting for this video since you first mentioned it, i really wanted to see your insight so i would decide whether i should get one or not.
i'd like to win the kindle because i do read a lot more ebooks now than i have in the past but i hate using my phone for it. i have adhd so using my phone to read means its easier for me to get distracted and check other apps and forget what i was even doing in the first place. this causes me to take twice or something three times as long to finish an ebook so i'd like to have a designated device for it. thanks for this giveaway alyssa, your channels have become a source of comfort and relaxation for me over the past few months when i've really, really needed it and i appreciate you for it. đ
I'd love to have a kindle because i usually read alot but but i dont have enough space at my home to get so many paperbacks and electronic usually help reduce the paper wastage (a personal opinion) I've been trying to go digital in most aspects of my life and this would definitely help with that. I know this is an old video, but you can indeed share Kindle books with friends! I think you have to do it from your profile on the actual Amazon app, but my friend has loaned me a few books this way! :)

The reason why I've been wanting a kindle (for literal years) is because I can't really afford books. I love Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and junji ito and I struggle finding their books for a good price. I agree with many of the pros! I'm more of a night reader and looking back on the time I was devoring books a couple of years ago, I definitely read more on the kindle app in my phone than physically. After a long homework-filled afternoon, the only time I was able to read was at night before bed. I liked falling asleep to reading and don't like being scared of damaging my physical books đ. Alas, now I cannot help opening other apps on my phone before bed and it distracts me from reading. I want the kindle to help me read more since bedtime is the only time I am able to read comfortably. Thank you for holding the giveaway!
CONS:
1. Not all books are available digitally... and I'm not talking about rare books, but classic works and books that are common.
2. Amazon Kindle books are trapped in their own file format, only to be read on an Amazon Kindle device. You'll need a program, like Calibre, to convert them in order to read them on other e-readers. This is a headache, if you have a large collection. Also, not all converted files will look right.
3. Besides file format, e-books are also trapped by region: You cannot buy from Amazon US, Amazon Japan, and Amazon UK to your device, as it is trapped to the country it is registered in.
4. Then, there are formatting errors within the files! Some publishers will not proofread e-books, so quality control issues will come up. I find that if it's very inexpensive, it's probably because the digital quality is bad or non-existent.
5. Picture, art, and photography books could theoretically be digitized... but would you want to? The main exception is manga and comic books (for which these devices ARE PERFECT).
And I say this as someone who spends hundreds of dollars on e-books (manga and comic books) per month hahah.
I've always loved reading and I love to bring a book with me everywhere I go and a kindle would be so much easier because I could have multiple books with me with just one device.
I have started reading again within the last year after only reading since highschool. I only buy physical books but have been wanting to try out a kindle! I think a kindle would allow me to try out new book genres and not feel as bad if I don't end up liking the book! I love all of your CZcams channels by the way! Recently I've started reading more e-books on my phone. A Kindle would be really convenient because of all the features you mentioned in the video. English is not my first language so the dictionary feature would be very useful. You also mentioned the ability to annotate books which I enjoy doing. My 2022 reading goal has also gotten better since I started reading e-books. đ„âš
