I forget if you’re a thriller girlie but I’m totally in that era now! Frieda McFadden’s books are what got me out of my reading slump!! I’ve read like 5 so far and I’m just breezing through them lol super good plot twists and they read SO fast!
We stand chaotic reading vlogs!!! Have you ever thought of graphic novels (not lore Olympus), manga and webtoons? I think that would be fun to do since it is shorter and more colorful!

I hope your surgery went well and that you are recovering well! I had to get cavities filled at the dentist yesterday and it was awful. I threw up from the laughing gas, I was so embarrassed, but I barely remember it at this point haha. My mouth is still a little bit sore and stiff so definitely still recovering. I love your videos!
So happy you posted a new video! 😊 I recommend thrillers by either K.L slater or Frieda Mcfadden if you have kindle unlimited! Their books are very easy to read and the twists and turns are really good🥰

I read the first 3 acotar books in 3 weeks I loved them & then read once upon a broken heart that one was eh I took a short fantasy break & am reading project hail mary right now it’s so good.... you got me so excited to read the fourth wing that might be my next one & then the next 2 Acotar books!!

A court of silver flames was my favorite of the series. Good to know your opinion on ritual and credence was going to read it but now I won't I feel the same. I read the haunting adaline series tho I love a good bit of the story I could not get on board with the kinks. I can't wait to read fourth wing😍

I promise I tried to keep this comment short, but I have a small, potentially unhealthy, obsession with the romance genre, particularly with dark, fantasy, and dark fantasy romance. It just hits different to a golden retriever book bf (I'm also a fan of, my husband has super golden vibes, but still, there's a time and place haha).
In July, I was a big fan of The Diavolos, which I think is a series, but the second book isn't out yet. I'm now reading the A Touch of Ruin series - I guess I'm on a Greek kick? I'd definitely recommend reading CW/TW before diving in, but the MMCs in these books are not at all like the ones you described in The Ritual and Creedence. Did you read the Corrupt series by Penelope? I bought it awhile back when I read Punk 57, and I'm still unsure about it.
If you want a cute RomCom with enemies to lovers vibes, I loved The Highland Fling. So cute and you'll want to go to Scotland to meet the hairy coos.
The Kingdom of the Wicked series. I love love love it and plan on a re-read for October!!! Wrath is my first dark romance book bf, and nobody can compare to that sass. The first two are more YA dark fantasy with a touch of spice, and the third (not my fav) was more new adult.
More dark romance, a why choose retelling of Peter Pan with the characters aged-up that I love is The Never King series. I haven't read the fourth one yet, but the first three were great!
ACOSF was one of my favorites of the ACOTAR series, and I'm thankful to Maas for initiating my absolute need for not just fantasy, but fantasy romance. If you like enemies to lovers with some seriously great sm*t, ACOSF is worth getting to. I literally read it in one day!
I loved Haunting Adeline, even as a survivor of st*lking...but it was really difficult for me to read the second one (Hunting Adeline) as a survivor of SH/SA and DV. I recommend reading CW/TW and believing them when they say read at your own discretion.
And last but not least, I loved A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor (another why-choose poly fantasy romance with bi characters!) It's a lot like A Dowry of Blood, without as much poetic writing, and with more types of monsters. I loved it, and it's super cozy for a Fall read, too.
