Why in 1993-1994 would anyone care if Hogan is the AWA champion? That's like 10 years past relevancy. Hogan was already the former WWF champion again. That mattered more vs Flair. Greg Gagne has been consistent with same story on Eric Bishoff for many years. I really doubt he is lying. A liar can and will consistently change and vary their story. He probably had advantages in the business being Verne Gagne son. However, his story on Eric Bishoff has remained consistent.

Of course the 'third strike' would have been the Aleksandr Karelin plan that he supposedly proposed to Hogan. Hogan then tells Bischoff and that was it. Then GG talks about how he wanted to throw EB out the 14th floor after being dismissed. Well, EB is a skilled martial artist. He could have taken care of himself. This is the third time we have heard this story. He is sticking to it. Whether this is true or not, the same thing applies to Mike Grahams story as well. Many people convinced EB to bring in Hogan. It was a no brainer. The timing was impeccable. Hogan wanted to move on at the time. As for the WCW/NWO angle, EB had some inspiration from other sources and angles in the past. Again, timing was of the essence. Some of the biggest stars in WWF/WWE wanted to move onto greener pastures, and the opportunity to create the NWO came to fruition...plus with the help of the Moday Night Wars, of course. Wow, seems like it all happened yesterday. Where did the time go?

But to be honest, it was much more exciting and credible to have a rogue faction of WWF guys assaulting WCW than having two extinct organisations (AWA & NWA) trying to invade. WWF was their real competitor after all.

Yeah but signing a contract that he crafted with his lawyer (not cheap) but he didn't read it? He didn't even skim the incentives that he worked in? Not very believable...but he probably believes it is true enough in essense - like Bischoff got the money and recognition for his work, etc.
