Oh, me too! I'm out of ramen noodles right now, and of course I need my fix right now. 😢 Unfortunately nothing is open right now to buy any, except for the corner store which sell no-name bland noodles. I guess I'll have to just have some miso soup now. 😢
I think it's expensive. Because noodle portions are pretty small and it wouldn't enough for me. Probably for general as well. So we can say one person can fill with $8. Idea is good but little pricey.
wawa gas station in florida. got a hot n spicy ramen for 1.29 or so, a pickled sausage and boiled egg pack along w a drink, for them to get two ramens all their toppings and two drinks for 8 sounds amazing
This is like a International Museum of Instant Noodles For the dry noodles you should add a little of the hot water used to cook the noodles so the mixing of sauce is much easier
I love these videos so much. Most of the time (if not all the time) I like to cook a meal and hide away into my room, or if its late, I sit in the dining room while everyone’s asleep and put videos like this on. It helps me eat my food (I have trouble eating and feeling ill afterwards), and the noises from the grills, the people, they all relax me so much and it helps me unwind.
The colder the place you live, the more you enjoy a nice bowl of hot ramen. Wisconsin winters does that to me, just gotta make due with our generic junk supermarket ramen.
The discipline you even need to have stuff like this is incredible I can’t imagine the loss people who open self serve stores would even suffer from if it was in my country Btw I am from India (most people would probably steal stuff!!)
It's not self serve? Are you Indians blind or something You just make it yourself, you need to checkout the ingredients and ramen at a cashier station like in a supermarket
This would definitely be a great experience for those that are coming and trying this place for the first time! It may not look really filling, but it would definitely be very interesting to design your own instant noodles with your own imagination!
That place looks like fun. I wish there was one around here cause it'd be fun to make your own noodles and they could provide you with different toppings which are already prepacked for one noodle (cause it'd be too expensive to buy an entire pack and you're not gonna use all of them). Thank you for showing us this and you even did the noodles that needed draining! I was wondering about how that'd work while you guys were eating the soup ones.
(1:11) - Oh man. I just bought a pack of Guksu Soba Style Noodles....it was insanely good, I preferred it even over a store-bought fresh noodle kit. Sad it's not there, but Nong Shim knows how to make a good pack of instant noodles.
There’s a similar station in Seoul! I love the concept of pre-packaged food being turned into properly-cooked food instead of the usual hot water method. There’s a certain charm to it.
@ikkue why you just guess and gave wrong information to others people. This is ownd by Thai business man named Angul, he started because he love to eat instand noodle and one day he found out that only in Thailand there are more than 300+ kinds of instant noodles that's already in Thailand market so he started this business and he want his restaurant to have famous noodle from anywhere in the world so he just has Korean noodle in his shop too. Lol
Wow this place is like 300 meters from my office and I never tried it. Never thought it could be a tourist destination. I was in the nearby food court and saw some teenagers and students in this shop. Thanks for the video!
Wow all those toppings you can choose from!😍😋 At home I only add some spring onions and if eating the Buldak noodles I nowadays add a slice of cheddar cheese.
Oh my! I love adding things to my instant noodles! Was there a lot of vegetables there too. I guess ill rewatch and pause on the extra toppings to see. I'm really into mushrooms lately. And cabbage shreds and occasionally a big old slice of kraft singles lol Oh and maybe some little shrimps from the freezer. Go big or go home lol. 🤣

I was wondering when the spiciness and cheese were going to make a appearance lol. Omg I am even more jealous of you guys that is a awesome place, it would be nice to have a place like that in NYC as most "noodle" places here are so expensive and not really worth the price one has to pay.
You guys are SO LUCKY! If I had one of those places up the street from me, I would live there!!! Literally everyone who worked there would know me by name!!!
I love these videos about instant noodles especially the ones where you make the noodles yourself like the cup noodles one. Hope to see more videos like that. Edit:Holy crap only 10 hours and 19 likes already? I’ve never gotten this much likes lol ty guys
The dry style isn't very common in the USA, but I found one at my grocery store that uses that method. I suppose you could use the dry method on any wet noodle if you want.
honestly not the biggest fan of instant noodles but omg I need to bring my family here one day the amount of Asian instant noodles there are is beautiful
I'd really like to have a trip to this place, It's pretty cool how so many instant dishes there are, and from not only one country! I'd be cutious to taste the differences among them! Good video as aleays!!
I heard that the Thai owner of this shop started with about 300+ kinds of instant noodle that he saw in Thailand market and dreams to have all kinds of famous noodle from all over the world to sell in his shop.
I’ve always wanted to try the Buldak noodles, but I haven’t because I’m not sure how spicy they are. I don’t have a very high tolerance but it isn’t very low either. I learned the hard way that Korean spice can be a completely different level lol. I absolutely love watching your videos! I love how descriptive you are with the food you try. I’ve even tried some that I come across here in the US. I feel like your videos have helped me to expand my palette
the buldak noodles actually have a lot of flavor, and a lot of spice! i recommend [if you're able to] kind of turning it into a cheesy noodle dish. the cream/milk and the cheese will help reduce some of the spice while maintaining most of it. i will warn you, it is very spicy, like almost habanero level. definitely more than jalapeño. they do make a single serving cup noodle, i'd start with that and see how you like it
Same. I LOVE the texture of Korean noodles over others but sometimes find they are too spicy for me. Especially the ones who don't package the chili in a separate packet.
Theyre really tasty if you can handle some spice. you could try putting only part of the seasoning packet in to try, or watering it down with some of the noodle water (or cream if you try the carbonara variety)
1:40 My way to enjoy instant noodles! (I may have not much money left, but I have unlimited creativity! I was just thinking about that video from the ramen place in Japan, and thinking maybe you wouldn't be able to make another video like that, so this video makes me happy!
Fantastic video quality as always. The amount of plastic involved in the making of this meal is grotesque. Nothing personal against you two of course! But seriously, there just doesn't need to be that much packaging involved when two people eat.
The way the egg just popped out perfectly like that blew my mind. That's like the ideal al dente soft egg. It's perfect. Holy fucken eggs, batman! I need to learn that technique.
It looked a lot like what my grandma would call a 3 minute egg. Hard boiled for only 3 minutes(hard roiling boil start timer) then shed set it in little cup and tap tap tap the top in a circle and it pop off like a cap. Then she dipped toast in the soft yolk but the whites were usually set up nicely. But you might have to play with timing cuz every stove is different.
This is a useless gimmick. I rather have an experienced chef make me something special. Otherwise I am making noodles at home rather than in the public.
Can't wait to go back to Thailand this fall. Gonna live like royalty with those prices. Wife has extended family in Sattahip and Rayong. Beach life, here we come!!!
If we had these in my city, I'd be eating twice the amount of instant noodles I normally do!
Pov you ate 2 packs of ramen to stop you from eating
Same😋😋
