Trying 3 Self Cooking Asian Meals that heats up with plain water 1. Self Cooking Spicy Chicken Mayo Bowl 2. Self Cooking Oden Hotpot 3. Self Cooking Spicy Ramen
It may sound disgusting, but mayonnaise actually makes good fried rice surprisingly. It’s just to make the rice a bit more richer flavor while cooking. I would recommend Kewpie for those that are curious on trying to cook fried rice if they are planning to add mayonnaise
You can accomplish this same meal in the United States for less than 2/3 the cost. You just need to know how to do it. Ramon, egg , meat and cook In microwave oven 😋. Add anything you wish on your budget.
that spicy ramen would be perfect to pack for long car trips for when you want a hot meal but don't want to go to a restaurant. i wish we had things like that here in the US
enjoy eating calcium hydroxide (the same stuff that is in cement) because that's what happens when you steam food in an uncovered container with calcium hydroxide heaters
@@Burger_pantsyou do realize that the toxic chemicals are inside the bag, heating the bag up? the water may be getting some chemicals but it’s only there to bring heat
let's be honest, it's not really safe to cook with calcium hydroxide and also in a plastic container (if I'm not wrong) but trying it once or twice and doing it only when you are camping or have some emergency wouldn't be that bad
Wow, this kind of food always amazed me. And the last one was so complete, so interesting and it has such an affordable price. Thank you for the video!
Asian folks have the right idea, making meals like this that are both affordable and tasty as opposed to one or the other. I wouldn't feel bad having a pantry full of meals like these, myself.
cooking food in toxic chemical gas without any container to keep said TOXIC GAS from absorbing into your food? yes asians are really good at poisoning their consumers and ignoring health and safety rules that most of the western world abides by Ever wonder why our government doesn't give our troops MREs that have open containers? or why the packaging says "DO NOT EAT, DO NOT GET ON SKIN OR IN EYES"?
Wish we could get food like that in UK. Thank you for your great videos love the humour and your partner has a lovely face and she can show so well how goings taste 😊❤
The noodles on #3 look really good. Most of the dry Ramen packs we get in US are totally flavorless and mushy. Never seen these soft partly cooked noodles. Love to try them
I will happily travel 49 miles out of my way to get to my Asian Grocery store 😋💖🙈 My lady gotz everything , hotpots to dumplings , fresh seafood to homemade tofu 🥰🥰🥰 I'm trying to remember the name of my favorite one that had spicy tripe in it
I highly doubt he cares about expired food when he is ingesting toxic chemicals (you don't steam food in calcium hydroxide gas, that rice and noodle dish was full of toxic chemicals
@@Burger_pants I should well imagine its no more toxic than using simple slaked lime in food products across the globe. Those "self-heating" pouches are used in more than "gimmicky" self heating foods from the stores, theyre used in MRE's by many countries too. So do those soldiers eating their meals heated with them drop dead after use? No. No more "dangerous" than eating processed foods with additives.
I love all the details of your Self Cooking Meals, Vending Machines and especially, Buffets! DancingBacons, you inspired me to make my own Hawaii based food and fun channel! (You consistently post great info and prices and not many channels do that!) I only have 700 subs, so I'm trying to work harder and harder to earn those subscribers. But the process is enjoyable and my only regret at the moment is I wish I had more time to make more videos. (Still work a 40 hr week and got littles to look afterwards) I saved and just bought a new Insta360 so I can make better quality videos! Aloha from Hawaii!
imagine going camping and saying hold up i gotta cook my rice. everyone's face would be priceless. i love the heating bag. i think it's a better invention than AI.
My school canteen sell self cook foods too I never tried it tho cuz i dont have time to wait for it to be cooked and the canteen usually close after school
What do you do with all of those containers after you eat the meal? I hope there is some way to recycle or reuse them for something. Yes, the goodies look really yummy.
LMAO asia produces most of the worlds plastic waste, and most asian countries have 0 recycling policies. You must be very naive if you think a few ramen containers means jack shit when MILLIONS OF TONS OF GARBAGE IS DUMPED INTO THE OCEAN DAILY IN ASIA

That's the secret they have for most of the hibachi restaurants in America. "Yum yum" sauce is basically just mayo and some seasonings.
Sounds good actually
Its facts
I use Mayonaise in bed...
Lubricates with a sting , lovely...

Ah, back to the old low-key patio meals. I like it! Especially when it involves heating bag slaps.
haha, such a niche thing but i'm fully with you
I love these self cooking series
bibigo is korean's favorite meal brand ❤
Big fan!!!!😊😊😊💜💜
Everything I've tried from that brand has been delicious
first sign of someone with no appreciation for food standards is to immediately put mayo on every single thing you eat.
@@anonjohnnyG bro why so mad
@@japanesetvstuff One of the most disrespectful things you can do to any chef is to blindly add extra condiments and seasonings.
The self heating Japanese Ramen is perfection.
Ah yes, the satisfying sound of DancingBacons smacking that heating pack is music to my ears!
i love this series! i rewatch these all the time i’m so happy they posted another one
You've made my day with these self cooking meals again! Thanks DB!
That is the fanciest & most complete instant ramen set I've ever seen. The cutlery even, better than ones I had at home!
I had never heard of a self cooking meal before. This looks incredible!
I enjoy all of DancingBacons videos but these nice and relaxing videos where foods are just tried at home are the best.
I really wish the US had more stuff like this
If you can get them they are very expensive
I wish Brazil had any of these at all...
Same in Australia!!
Me too

Love these videos. I really wanna try the self heating hotpot
don't do it like bacons did, unless you enjoy eating toxic chemicals. He steamed that rice in calcium hydroxide fumes.
@@Burger_pants he even ate the black bun burger which makes his poop green💀
In a other vid
@@Burger_pants i do enjoy eating toxic chemicals actually
@@Burger_pants yum yum sound delicious
This is surprisingly comforting to watch.
It looks so good!
Self cooking Asian meals are so interesting. I need to pick one up one day 😊
that spicy ramen would be perfect to pack for long car trips for when you want a hot meal but don't want to go to a restaurant. i wish we had things like that here in the US
i absolutely love your desk!! the view and the birds singing are perfect. honestly my favorite youtube channel!
I think the Japanese ramen is the perfect self cooking meal with all the required items..🍜👍
It all looks intriguing, and surprisingly delicious. I hope to find some in California soon. Thanks for the video 🍜

Affordable? Depends where you live, they can be expensive in most of the US and I don't think they're available at all in many countries.

All of your videos are great but this is the kind i like the most about this channel 🙂
They're fab! The last one seemed well worth the money!
Missed this type of video! These are my fave video types along with the vending machine ones.
Todos parecem deliciosos, mais esse último do ramen parece muito bom mesmo. Adoraria experimentar 😊
Hell yeah the classic patio is back ❤
That last bowl looked * really *good for that price
The last one was the ultimate complete set 👍🏼👍🏻
Japanese stuff 🤌🏻🤘🏻
Made in China. Very much not Japanese.
It's ironic that it's made by a Chinese company xd
❤...back for this back porch video! I really miss these, though I admit I enjoy the restaurant videos too.

The just-add-water heat packets are still a marvel to see!
Thank goodness I'm eating in a few! Looks delicious
I’m not a big fan of instant meals, but it’s really cool to see how elaborate some of them can be.
I really enjoy these videos ❤ Thank you

😋 looks tasty
great video as always! i liked the last one!
I love the self-heating meals, I keep one in the back of my car. 😊
that ramen is extremely good value! you dont need anything else to cook, lots of fillings and its also cheaper compared to other self cooking meals.
Bibigo is such a good brand I love it
That third one seemed such good value. In the UK that would be a fiver for lunch. I really wish we could get them at that price here.
SO amazing!
Gotta Love the asmr
ooooh i wanna try the bibigo one! i really like their frozen dumplings
Its so yummy! Happy Wednesday!😊
I would seriously love to buy those here- they would make awesome emergency rations

i fall asleep to your content very relaxing
I really hope this was filmed before 16th November 2022, because all the bags for the Self Cooking Spicy Chicken Mayo Bowl have that use by date on it

How long between cooking and eating one of these do you wait to film the next one? Or do you just do them all at the same time?
Looks really cool but the sheer amount of plastic materials used for a single person meal is kinda painful to watch.
Yeah like no shit man, it hurts
