    Leave California, Missouri would love to have you. Cheaper to live and a lot less restrictions. Your stuff is unbelievable. Think about coming to Missouri, your in the center of the country easily to ship everywhere. In all seriousness love your builds. Fj62 is my favorite.

    Spot on. Spent a few years doing emissions work and CARB is simply high as a kite. Total revenue hunt ad you called.. That state is sadly a lost cause. Look at a 12v Cummins and NV4500 for an FZJ80.

    Still love this truck just rewatched this maybe bc I was in high school from 94-2000 this is my favorite style of land cruiser it was the body style when I really began to really truly love cars and understand there capabilities and prices and engineering this is a amazing TLC project

    I have a 1997 40th Anniversary I've hung onto. Raised a family in it so it's hard to sell it. The 80 series were the last true Toyota Land Cruisers IMHO.

    It is very unusual for a truck with so much Toyota history to have a GM engine, it is not about power but originality, that vehicle was never for high speeds but to have the power of any road, no matter how difficult it may be.

    While a erod swap won't work you should still be able to do ls swaps. You just can't do the erod package.

    In 2021, my 1996 LX450 only needs "safety" inspections in TEXAS. No more emissions for me in DFW metroplex. Cali doesn't have exemptions for 25+ year old vehicles? Antique status?

      I paid to have someone put a 6.0L Vortec (LQ4) in my 1997 Collectors Edition in Savannah, GA. Expensive, but worth it for me. Would rather have an FZJ80 with more power than any other SUV!
