The scary thing for me is that more people don't understand this simply as common sense.
Smoking research done for years said it was bad for you, but it wasn't pubished by anyone for rather obvious reasons. Or at least the reasons should be obvious.

Actually, it is. Because people like me in my 50’s grew up being taught many things based on “research” by people purported to know more than us. It has taken up to this phase in my life for me to realize most of what we were told was a scam. No one ever disclosed publicly their funding or conflicts with who they were associated with or who ordered the studies-no one. So while it may not be new to you, discussions like this are a welcome event for me. And remember, these are clips from a more deep, longer discussion that’s available behind their pay wall. It’s not the only point that was discussed.
