    Still too many variables left in this study to worry about it. But after wandering through holistic health channels for 3 years I've about concluded that anything we consume in a concentrated (processed) form is unlikely to be the prevention or panacea that we seek. Our earth is so polluted and soils depleted that I don't want to buy ANYTHING from groceries or pharmacies. I'm trying to grow my own or purchase from local regenerative farmers. I don't live near water so I'm just out of luck for clean fresh fish so I've been eating frozen wild caught salmon and taking a daily fish oil supplement but this makes me skeptical about the supplement. Thanks Joel and Cina! On an unrelated note, I'm following Dr. Ken Berry and associates creating a American Diabetes SOCIETY to counter the misinformation coming out of the American Diabetes ASSOCIATION. I hope to see you all collaborate some day !

    12 years for fish oil - less than 9 months for mrna ......
    How do you factor in or out all the other health risks there are to isolate only the effects of the fish oil?
    Did they factor for natural versus processed fish oil? What about fish oils consummed by eating whole oily fish?
    Anyway, great vid, thanks for sharing, hopefully getting more people to think.

    So first Intermittent Fasting will cause you to have Heart Attacks, now Fish Oil? Also the fear campaign against VD3. I wonder who is paying for this study, that would be interesting to know.

    Perhaps all fish oils should be tested as were tuna (which some were actually eel) and olive oil (which were not from olives). It's hard to trust anything, anymore.

    Another prime example of “corporations ruin everything!” Highly processed anything changes it, almost always for the worse. Life is not a widget assembly line.
    Just seeing butter made in a food processor makes me want to scream out “STOP!” Products of nature need to be caressed and artisanaly handled.

    If you watch early 1900 videos of Eskimos, living in the igloo, you will see the two-year-old reach into a seal skin bag, pull out a small fish and eat it whole and raw and fermented. That’s all these people got their vitamin D for eight months of the year. And they were all healthy as a horse!

    Fish oil? What fish are we talking about here? freshwater? saltwater? and the oil? cold pressed? heat extracted? It seems the good doctors were not promised a luxury cruise by fish oil peddling companies - hence the bad rap. Once things have been patched up between supplement manufacturers and researchers, a new study will show a strong correlation between fish oil consumption and decreased incidence of Heart Disease and Stroke. Follow the money.

    The seas are so polluted by heavy metals. And the job of the liver is to remove stuff from the blood that should not be there, so poisons and metals concentrate in the liver compared to the rest of the body. Maybe this is a factor?

    What is the difference between heart failure and a heart attack?

    • @monnoo8221
      @monnoo8221 Před měsícem

      afib is NOT heart failure and NOT heart attack. It is a disturbance of the electrical conduction in the heart, and CAN lead to clots etc. you can have vey irregular heart beat or a very fast one.
      Heart attack/ failue is caused by a stenosis = blockage of the arteries prociding blood and oxygen to the muscle of the heart

    Define ‘Fish Oil’ for us please. You seem to be implying that ALL fish oil is exactly the same when there are HUNDREDS if not thousands of fish oil supplements on the market. Some have almost no DHA or EPA in them. There are so many different sources. Wild Alaskan Salmon Fish Oil? Is it from Sardines? Krill maybe? Is it contaminated with mercury?? Too many variables. And Far to vague to be relevant.

  • @daveshore8671

    Does the study say anything about what kind of fish oil they are using? A lot of your omega-3 supplements are using shellfish. In general, shellfish is bad for us. Even God tells us not to eat of the city unless it's finned and scaled. Sardines are good example of a place to collect or consume high amounts of omega-3. Just food for thought :-)
