i thought a tory promising to change a law to make it fair was incredible and apparent;y i'm not wrong. can you clarify what is being capped at £250? ground rent?
at least we have it on record that gove says it should be abolished, unless he u-turns on that too. ive been trapped in my flat for the last seven years, twice i've been under offer but the management company drags their feet my sales have been lost, 13 month of conveyancing, and MY solicitors were working for the management co at the same time!
half my state pension goes in service charge at the moment, and if i sold i'd feel incredibly guilty for passing this mess on. i'm 70 and should be having the best time of my life, but this is a an open prison. there should be no difference to selling my flat as someone with freehold - it's a license for the landowners to extort money.
