  • Today’s workplace is more noisy and distracting than ever before. If you want to get ahead and produce great outcomes, you need to create some quiet time. But that’s often harder than it sounds.
More and more of us work in an open office environment. That means privacy is at a premium. There is often nothing more than a computer screen to separate you from other people. In fact, being able to reach out and touch someone without standing up is becoming the norm.
With all these distractions and interactions, it can be challenging to focus on your work. Just sitting in a high traffic area (lots of people walking by you) can be very damaging to your productivity.
So how can you thrive while working in such a distracting environment? In this video, Scott Friesen shares 4 ways to create quiet space so you can stay on track.

Yes, it's amazing how much power a headset or pair of earbuds can wield. Thanks for watching!

These are coping methods not solutions! How about ask noisy loud people to shut up and give people a chance to get their work done?

Lol 😆 I wish that worked but you know how people are, you tell them that and prepare to be bullied, I don't get how someone can excessively talk all-day nonstop about absolutely nothing, and the managers we have are all weak and they actually encourage this and will often join in with them, so insane, I'm currently looking for remote work 😀 but went out and bought me some noise cancelation earbuds., they have helped tremendously but the excessive talkers are bullying me because I don't engage in there mess all day I just ignore them, if anyone know of a good remote job hook me up
