I remember they came out with a cartoon Pippi long stocking movie when I was a kid living in America. Never knew it was of Swedish origin!
I do remember playing outside all day like she does, running wild and getting knee scrapes and bug bites. This house I can see her in, cooking up a fun, messy breakfast with her friends. What a great place thank you for sharing with us David!

When I was a child , I was teased a lot. kids teasing me and calling me pippy longstocking. I was wounded. But as an adult, I have come to admire her. It's wonderful how David is of a younger generation and knows who she is. A classic.
*What a unique home for Sweden. Just gorgeous and having your own beach is paradise isn't it? Hearing the birds in the background while listening to you, David, was just a sneak peek into what the homeowner(s) hear everyday. How calming! Although, I personally favor modern aboudes, this home is so unique who wouldn't love it. What a great find.

What a wonderful whimsicle summer retreat! Couldn't possibly pick a favourite part.....it's ALL just perfection. Re your search for doors; wouldn't it be likely that you would find some at Swedish flea markets/used/thrifted supply places?

this is certainly very unique. It is charming like a gingerbread house. I like the cheery yellow. Of course I love the wonderful white bright interior which makes the house incredibly inviting and happy... just like Pippi! I love her too!

What do I love for he most? The living room is my favorite design, colors, furniture, book case…all of it. This is a genuinely beautiful home. Great architecture, colors within and without, beautiful island. This is truly one of my favorites of all you’ve shown so far (and each one of them are lovely in their own way). We’ve seen those doors in architectural salvage shops in the US. They are warehouse sized buildings that have building materials from old houses. Not sure what UK calls these places. Good luck, they’re beautiful.

This place is AMAZING. I think my favorite part is the bold green tiles on the otherwise bright house. I also love that sun room with the little color on the windows. Sooo gorgeous.

For the doors look for an architectural salvage yard. It's a second hand store for building materials including doors.
There's quite a few in London, but I'm unable to include a link in the comments so I guess you're going to have to Google it.
