That first moment when all four members appeared from below the stage and The Visitors started...I couldn't process what was happening. I started crying because I couldn't believe I was actually watching ABBA...LIVE!!! Yes, they may be avatars (not holograms!), but ABBA poured their hearts and souls into EVERYTHING about this Voyage. So for me, the avatars are as real as ABBA themselves. I Still Have Faith In You was another really special, emotional moment. I'll never forget the wonderful, unique experience that ABBA gave us!

I completely understand how you feel. I would be the same. After all this time waiting for the concert, after all the excitement of seeing this show, after having the joy to see the "real" ABBA waving and talking to their fan for the premiere, and coming back to reality of "normal" life, I would feel the same. I feel that melancholy feeling since their split off in 1982. I was 19 years old. They came back for one more album and that was great. We all felt like we all returned in the 70's when we were all younger. But, after a while, we all came back to present. And we all know they're pretty old now and they need to enjoy a quiet and easy smooth life. I'm pretty sure the band is done. ( If only I could I would like to rejuvenate them )It's the end of an era, our era. Our life, as ABBA fans, is connected to ABBA. Thank you for the music ABBA !!!! And thank you Diego for being such a great ABBA fan !! 😉

Hello! I was there as well on the 26th and I will never forget the excitement of everybody before the show. We all didn't know what to expect; it could have been just some holograms like in the Abba Museum. But as soon as I saw them appear I was just flabbergasted. Also, when they did the bowing at the end I thought they were real, but apparently they were just the avatars! Then after that Abba came again but then as the real ones! It was truly amazing and you need to see it in order to believe it.

I found your change a few months ago, watching your ABBA reaction brought tears to me. When I was introduced to ABBA they weren’t active anymore and it was thanks to my mum.
I went yesterday and it was incredible to watch it live. I understand the desire to keep it a mystery and not allowing to take pics or records clips, but we live on a social media world. I did a few clips with my phone to show my mum since she wasn’t able to come yet. I was aggressively told to put it down by this man, who ruined the mood and atmosphere for many. If they are so concerned with it, they should create a system to store media devices.

There was a video of long duration from the concert, that was uploaded from a channel some days ago.I really got sad about it.For me it's ok if some do it for private use as a "souvenir" but i can't agree being leaked publicly.Nothing can represent the feeling of being there no mobile can capture It's " 3D experience".It doesn't do justice to this magnificent work and some people take advantage of it and expose it,getting out of control .Many fans felt same way about similar leaked videos and complained.Yesterday i realised that it got "teared out" from utube by Universal people due to illegal issues though the author had hinted in a comment that there wasn't any visible threat about it.I wholeherteadly do hope though, your lovely mum to get the chance to watch it.I'm sure she will feel as a teenager again.

When people criticize with, "Why go see this when you can watch a movie of them in concert, blah, blah, blah", I try to explain, it's not just a concert. It's an immersive experience...light, sound, avatars...the whole thing. Like Diego says, there's so much to see, hear, discover, try to figure out, the communal aspect. THAT is what makes it different from just watching a concert movie. I'm afraid, though, until they actually see it for themselves, they're not going to understand it. I've only seen the clips people have posted, and I find that footage impressive by itself. I can imagine what that footage must be like when you're there at the event.

This technology might be used for Whitney(which i love), Elvis and And so on....but there a significant difference. These acts aren't alive,Abba did it by capturing their living motions from their faces and bodies consciously working for these songs. They" put life" in it,knowing this.In other non living act this could feel spooky knowing they just got "used" without their permissIon.It would be as if they will take a dead body and make it move like a marrionette which i find it kinda direspectful.Even after Abba won''t be alive this project will still carry some life in it and would be even more precious and emotional. This will be their last gift they would have offered to be left for us.ABBA.A mega band that got brutally humiliated by critics in their heyday along with us fans that followed them. But even after 4 decades we just couldn't forget how beautifuly we grew up in their arms and felt safe in their perfumed garden.I will love them as long as i live.

The best way to battle the melancholiness after watching the concert is to start listening to all the ABBA albums from Ring Ring to Voyage. I hope to someday be able to go to London and watch the concert. I’m a true huge ABBA fan. The first song I ever heard from ABBA as a kid was Nina Pretty Ballerina. My dad brought home the 45 record. Afterwards, he brought Fernando and Knowing Me, Knowing You. I played the records over and over including the b sides So Long, Tropical Loveland and Happy Hawaii. I’ve become a fan since then. The first lp that I bought was ABBA The Album, followed by Voulez Vous. I received Super Trouper as Christmas present. Then I bought The Visitors followed by ABBA then Waterloo. I later bought Arrival and Ring Ring when they came out on cd. Bought all the cd versions of all their albums when they came out.

This new "Voyage" album experience has been so different and in a better way than in the past because of the internet and being able to communicate with fellow fans worldwide. I bet there will be new ABBA hits compilations, a true "Voyage" deluxe box set, an eventual concert DVD, etc. to come. This isn't really where it ends. 🙂

The melancholy comes from knowing that there probably will be no more new music from ABBA and this is their spectacular way of saying goodbye and setting their unique mark on musical history. If they had said they might do one more final album polishing up all those unreleased songs they were not quite happy with originally, then you would not feel flat right now. They will be feeling the same way as you I am sure, but also a sense of relief that they managed to achieve what they set out to do. It was a huge risk to take on their legacy but they did it.
I like to think they are digital robotic androids or DRA's and that would fit in best as to what you were seeing. ABBA's marketing team leaves a lot to be desired. There is only a snippet o SOS out, they should post 4 to 5 more, and disable the comments section to keep the haters at bay. Marvel spoils a lot in their trailers, and still, a boatload of people go to see their movies.
Is better for people to go knowing what to expect and having a good time than to go in blind faith and complain later that was not what they expected. Also, in the comments of the bootleg videos uploaded, a lot of people expressed their desire to attend the concert after watching the video.

Somewhat of a no-brainer but no one on the marketing team seems to have figured this out. Strange.

Perhaps the issue is that there may not be any more new music from ABBA? It's been so lovely to have a new album by ABBA, but there won't be any new real live in person performances by ABBA. Many bands stopped performing years ago. Wouldn't it be nice if there were several versions of the ABBA virtual concerts, but that would be unlikely based on what they've said.

I was curious too about what u tell about the 3D aspect, and I think u r right and even I'm an engineer, I can't tell how this can be done, not being holograms... but the impression, telling from the clips I've seen, not having gone yet is that, a 3D feeling. Saludos desde Albacete.

Porsupuesto da la sensación de 3D. Video es 2D y en televisión o videos de CZcams, olvidalo. Tienes que estar presente para que los ojos vean en 3D, ni con gafas 3D lo han hecho.

I would say the depression you're feeling is normal and goes to show how amazing the show was. I have been to a few west end shows and felt relieved when it was over...
I'm going Saturday and cannot wait! I found a cheap resale seat from the official site which I have to say was a surprise as Ticketmaster were always prone to adding on a lot in the way of booking fees - well done Abba if you have told them not to!
As for the seats you mention all being sold for next year, I have to wonder how many are out to agencies/tour operators and so on and will reapper as they are returned? (I used to work in a West End theatre Box Office, can you tell?!) Even if a date is sold out it's worth keeping an eye out, just in case of agency/customer returns. (Not that I wish ill on people but thanks to whomever died so I could attend for my 50th!) Anyway dear, chin up! Both of them!! 😂

Whitney Houston's "hologram" concert has been out for a few years now and has a residency in Las Vegas (videos on CZcams). But the "hologram" tech is very limiting and sometimes looks weird. I read somewhere they were gonna change the show to a full-screen tech though.
There is also the MJ ONE in Las Vegas (also on CZcams), but you really have to be into Cirque du Soleil.

You'd waited since September to see the Voyage shows. You're bound to be on a downer for a few days and you get to see it all again in August. They must've added more dates as it was reported the London shows were finishing in December 2022. They could pack it all up and take it all around the world.

I may be totally wrong, but the other day, I read on a pretty reliable Abba youtube site, that they we're going to release the concert on dvd about, er around the end of the year. Have you heard that at all Mr Diego? Of course it would be nothing like the live event, but I'd sure reserve my copy. Maybe that would cure the meloncholie's? Then we could throw our own personal Abba Arena after parties at home as well :)

I'm feeling down. Haven't seen the concert and likely never will, as will be the case for most fans. I'm feeling down having waited for 40 years for something concrete from ABBA and this is it. So much build up and anticipation for something but we won't even get a video recording? Really? Clips are being taken down? I thought there was talk of a tour but apparently not. This is so depressing and dissapointing. Yes, other things *might* happen but when? Next decade? I am so dissapointed in ABBA right now that I feel like binning all of my ABBA stuff and forgetting them. The vast majority of loyal long suffering fans will get nothing.

Really anywhere is good. It isn’t Wembley with 15,000, there you wouldn’t see very well at the back, 3,000-it’s really a great number. Just right, even from the back you get super views. Even the 2 huge side screens really give you the “alternative” angles as if shot by a cameraman on stage with them, but they are invisible of course!

Hey, I know you blocked comments on your previous video about copyright infringements regarding the abba shows,
But I just wanna comment on it cause I strongly disagree with their business decisions
How on earth do they expect people who live in other parts of the world, who doesn’t have the money to get a plane to London and even buy tickets to the show??
That is why people want to view clips and have a DVD of the show cause they cannot afford the money, not everyone is a millionaire

Having seen them live in Sydney, it's a matter of whether one becomes somewhat skeptical that it can live up to the hype.
It'd be interesting to hear the perspectives of those who saw the real thing and the new show as well and if it lived up to expectation.
How can they recreate Frida tumbling over on stage in Sydney with the rain? It's those sort of unexpected memories that you likely cant produce in a show like this. Whether it just looks mechanical? Sing, dance a bit, sing, bow etc.
